So Senderos is worth more than our Argie bloke?

To be fair to Shearer, the couple of times I have spoken to him - once when I worked at the ground, once past him in the street - he was anything but an arrogant sod.

The Best Performance You've Seen From Us?

I wanted to say that one just cos it sticks out; sensational counter-attacking football. We absolutely destroyed them... but i never actually saw it, just the highlights. It just sticks out for that period though. I really can't think of any one that stands out in-particular for me, as i didn't see too many from the Bobby era. There was some decent performances prior to that, that i can just about remember: 4-1 against Everton in the cup where Kets got a brace, 2-0 vs Spurs at Old Trafford - again in the cup. 1-0 vs Juventus and 2-2 vs Inter in the Champions League were pretty damn good performances under Bobby (notice how i'm only saying terrestrial TV games). More recently, 4-1 against Alkmaar, 3-0 against Reading. I haven't seen too many outstanding performances from start to finish unfortunately. It was 4-2 against Alkmaar unfortunately. Bloody Taylor! Never a penalty! -

The 3-1 at Highbury sticks out, not for a great performance, but for killing the London hoodoo (iirc we beat Spurs a few weeks later) and going top. For Drama nothing beats Feynoord for me. For pure domination the West Ham game, but also the first 20 minutes or so in the game we lost to Cantona in 96. -

I would piss my pants if we signed Sam Eto'o Could see it happening, says many clubs are in for him. Would love it, one step nearer to Keegan completing my Pro Evo team. Just think someone with Euro football will be in for him and that will sway his decision. -

Was available for £1.5m fixed fee next summer

The Italia 90 ones in Subbuteo were the best imo. Proper box, green white and red nets. We made a set in the back garden, only they weren't coloured

So can we use the ZSP 'no approach' tag to mean that AA's agent offically talks shit?

That Spurs Right hand side would get raped. No balance there at all

Voted walk away based on the time line put forward (bid accepted, terms accepted, asking price increased). Its all right saying but its only £1m, but as it has been played out in the press via his agent every club will think they can do the same. Lets say we are trying to buy a further 5 players, an extra half million here, million there soon adds up to either: An additional transfer fee Room to manouver on wages.

I'm guessing it's based on the agent saying he was interested in a move to Spurs but that Zenit want a hell of a lot more money than Spurs are willing to offer. Is their a club Arshavin isn't interested in according to his agent? No serious bid has come in for him since the Euros and his agent is keeping his name in the spotlight. Still think we have a bid on the table, probably around the 12-15 million mark and no one has gone substantially higher than that. Wait so you think we have made a bid for him? Call it a bid, or a speculative punt, or an enquiry. I reckon it was pre Euro 08 and has just been left there
