  1. You've got the agent bot wrong. At the next Crown Jewel event he has to go one on one with the Undertaker
  2. No thanks, I really wouldn't want to fall out with Eddie. But it can't hurt to throw a cheeky Easy Apply on LinkedIn for it.....
  3. I like the idea of sending him to PSG/Barca or Real on a loan with obligation to buy next season, with a cheeky loan coming the other way to fix CB or CM holes
  4. The potential (likely?) move to the UEFA SCR makes a sale in 25/26 less appealing doesn't it? Assuming of course that we can carry the spend from this year through the PSR cycle for 25/26 then we may be drawing a line through this and moving to SCR starting form scratch. We would prefer to have the 3 year spread of the sale starting 26/27. I think anyway. Of course this is totally redundant if PSR is here to stay and/or we need the sale in 25/26 to be compliant in the current cycle
  5. Harper would have been any tournament between 2000 and 2010 really. And no he wouldn't have seen any minutes as I don't think any keeper got injured on those tournaments and that is the point of the 3rd choice keeper. The concept of a specialist 3rd keeper lives on imo
  6. I'm going to stick my neck out here. If he leaves and it's for £150m he will have a really underwhelming season and will struggle to live up to the scrutiny of being a £150m player. Of he stays then he will have a season becoming of a £200m player
  7. I'll die on the hill that Harper should have gone to a tournament with England as the third keeper. Lever to be pulled only of needed on game, but the life of a reserve keeper, being ready for action at any time but knowing that time is rare, is totally different to a number 1. It's a real unique position
  8. Everyone would start going at 16 then guaranteed to be asked for id for the first time on your 18th birthday. See also The Fox. There was a sports bar in Hexham back in the 90s where we'd all go to watch football with a few pints when underage and then have our 18th parties there. Great times
  9. He'll be there, all week and then all season if someone doesn't come in with a £150m bid by Friday.
  10. He'll still be feeling very sheepish about going in tomorrow and facing them. I've no doubt at all that there will be some ribbing and piss taking whilst the leaders put their arms around his shoulders but Isak wouldn't be human if he wasn't worried about a 1 on 1 session with big Joe
  11. We could give them £25m for their Brazilian midfielder
  12. But if we can get him to fall back in love with the club and project and hang around that's surely the best outcome?
  13. Forum joke or note, you're seriously dripping Tonali in that line up? He'd make a great sweeper so stick him in-between Hall and Tino
  14. I'm torn with getting right behind Isak being seen as basically a cuckold position or a right position of strength in supporting players whilst they are here. Hell a good season, CL again next year and maybe a fanciful flirtation with a title challenge and Isak may decide this is the place for him for the longer term
  15. It's good to be some reworked version of Shawn Michaels Sexy Boy. We can get Cheryl or Perrie to do the Sherrie bit at the start
  16. Not sure he is, like he probably is but not definitely. There's loads of intra premier league moves that haven't worked out, the change in club (and in this case step up in expectations) can be disruptive. Robbie Keane should have delivered for Liverpool but didn't, Who saw Sir Les having a stinker for Spurs after leaving us. Hell even Nicky Butt should have been an ok signing for us. It's safer, but not a guaranteed success
  17. Let's be honest Wales and Scotland are just suburbs of London anyway
  18. Bring back the 'I've had a shitter' training top, a week of ribbing then back to how it was. If Howe wants it then Trips, Bruno and Burn will make it happen
  19. I don't think the ego in Isak will allow him to sit back and let Sesko (or anyone) outshine him in a world cup year and just after a season where he has been lauded as one of the world's best. Stick in a supply line of a mix of Elanga, Murphy, Gordon and Barnes with Tonali and Bruno pulling the strings. Goals Goals Goals
