Booking for Bruno tbh. He's got no business putting his feet in-between a Liverpool players legs when they are lying on the floor -
I wonder what his contract says about loans, on that can he refuse to go? I'd imagine young players have a clause that allows the club to place them anywhere for a period of up to 12 months at a time You'd also imagine that senior players contracts are at best silent on this, potentially fix the location as being contracted club without agreement to go. If it's silent then I guess we could force him out to Turkey or Saudi for a year. Save us £5m of wages and a nice loan fee to go a replacement

As an aside look at the difference in the celebrations. Tells a story

Don't know if it's the emotions after that but he was static for the first and third goals. If it was a cup game next id be all for Ramsdale coming in bit possibly an overreaction for a league game unless Howe sees Ramsdale as his number 1 and is just waiting for the time to pull the trigger -
Bet he's not as good as Nigel Fucking Benn was. Saw him on Falaraki '99. Great bloke, had an arm wrestle with him. Think I won, but I was very, very drunk! The poor guy was trying to tell people that his set was US House music based. He had one hell of a lisp. Then crashed and burned trying to get a shag at the end of the night.

It's not just throwing a hissy fit though, it seems pretty much true that Amanda (probably rightly) at least heavily suggested a new contract for summer 24 which didn't materialise (or to be more factually we just turned around and said no), then we (again rightly) put a value on Isak that puts him in the elite bracket of player. Put aside the behaviour and a new contract this summer would absolutely have been the right thing to do. Making good on that with a clause - and I like June as it falls in a PSR period, gives the summer to replace and next summer is a WC year which complicates the transfer window - is a pragmatic decision for the club. Big caveat here though, it needs to be incentive driven to get the top wedge even with a potentially lower release fee of we qualify for CL again and the real big one on that there has to be an environment when Eddie and the lads will welcome him back in after a contrite apology

Osimhen moved permanently to Turkey over the summer so he's out.

After a sleep his statement does seem targeted towards the exec team with the only comments on the playing squad and fans being to thank them. Put that together with the last couple of lines in the clubs statement and you can see a way back in for him. Best solution for me atm would be to get around the table and agree a new 5 year deal with a small pay bump and massive bonus potential with a release clause that is active in each June of the contract. Then its on the bench for Monday and we look to bring in a Jackson on a loan with obligation (subject to criteria being met in the season) and just make the best of it

I'm leaning more to Jackson than Wissa now. Preferably with a wildcard from overseas to be the second option, France or Italy seem safer bets for transitioning to the Premier League. And yes I'd look at Mitro for a bench option or as I've said before Vipotnik from Swansea as a younger version who I'd back to be more than a solid premier league striker on the right environment. Edit and Isak goes to Turkey or the Middle East on loan

I'm not sure, the sentence on a change being the best thing is pretty much him saying I want to leave. And it's on writing Unless of course the contracts specify the exact form that the request needs to be made in of course. Transfers are strange things, something like this hasn't been tested (afaik) and a lot of common practice in the football arena does seem to be legally challengeable

Love the way he would just needlessly do a thunderbastard of a shot from a few yards out. Never played the nee blasties rule did wor Hatem

Is AFCON every 2 years? Feels odd having it in a WC year, must put a massive strain on the African players and how do they fit in qualifying?

I look at it as being 3 points up on last season as I expect the final league to have either Newcastle then Villa or Villa then Newcastle. So we're 3 points better off in that little battle already
