  1. Still only 26, we’ve got 5 years plus of him still to come.
  2. 5 more goals please Joe. he deserves a double digit season in more than just cards and penalty points
  3. Going to need a panoramic to get his beaming wide smile in the photo today. or as I’ve predicted previously, he’s going to deadpan it today
  4. Spurs could be by next Saturday if we win our next 3 and Spurs lose their next 2. (technically they could match our points but not GD)
  5. Possible/probable that Adams will still be out when we play Leeds. They are a different challenge when he plays so if he is missing I'd expect a relatively easy 3 points
  6. Meh, Saturday can happen to pretty much any team. A good team with a good manager on good form had a good day where everything went to plan. The opposition have an off day and get out played, out thought and out fought. It's happened to Arsenal, to Liverpool, to Man Utd, to Chelsea (when they were good), Man City and even the likes of Barcelona, Madrid and Bayern. It will happen to us again and we'll do it to others again Just don't make a habit of being on the receiving end Eddie!
  7. For around £1bn more than he paid for it no doubt
  8. That's how Lampard's return to Chelsea started...
  9. Spurs could (should?) be out of the equation after the next 2 weekends (plus midweek round of games). You can see them losing all 3 with their current implosion and we've a damn good chance of picking up 3 wins. Villa will do well to pick up 5 points from their next 3 (draws away to Brentford and ManU, win at home v Fulham) which would put them 11 behind us - even with a win at Brentford they would be 9 behind with 12 to play for. Brighton don't play as may games with only a home game to Wolves. They'd have games in hand but a gap of 16 points with 24 to play for you'd think is too much. So 6:30pm 30th April we can crack open the champagne
  10. Im going for Southampton down with 3 games to go, Forest with 2 and Everton penultimate game. league and top 4 sorted before the last game as well leaving a meaningless final day for sky to flog to death
  11. I’d say we are in a better position now than we were after full time last week. same points gap but one fewer game for Spurs to our score us
  12. Leicester and Blackburn won’t be in the list, there’s bound to be some clubs who they haven’t been been in the premier league with. spurs is likely to be correct, I would have thought that they have finished above every team who have been promoted since the season they finished second to Leicester
  13. loved him in that film the Proposal - you know the one where American Sandra Bullock plays a Canadian who fake marries Canadian Ryan Reynolds who is playing and American for a green card. But he’s fucking Van Wilder and Deadpool. A strong CV
  14. Am I right that this is only our second 12:30 Sat KO this season? City Away being the other one. We seem to have a disproportionate 5:30 games, but recent bias may be in play here
  15. We’ll have it wrapped up in 5 games so big Joe just needs to avoid a yellow in one of these games then the ban is irrelevant
  16. If the Euro bid is successful would it mean that a stadium move is off the cards and we extend or do we reckon the bid is based on current capacity but with a coat of paint?
  17. I reckon Bournemouth will get a point on Saturday. If we go 8 clear next weekend with Spurs only having 6 games left then its done, we aint only getting 4 points from out remaining 7
  18. You can't get clear and obvious to be consistent, but could a method be that it is a maximum of 3 replays at match speed with a maximum of 1 minute to decide?
  19. that’s my Google image search for tonight sorted
  20. Replay needed for Spurs v Brighton. ideally the Thursday before we play Spurs
