Seeing Haris Vuckic has gone on loan to Cardiff, had a look at who else is loaned out. Found Lua Lua at Brighton Forster at Celtic Tavernier at Carlisle Alnwick at Gateshead Airey at Hibs Xisco at Depor Are there any others? And who looks likely to make the grade? Vuckic could from what I've seen, Forster probably. Any others?

Easily achievable, just follow the Tottenham model. Jack up admission and season ticket prices to ridiculously high levels and have a fanbase mug enough to keep on filling the stadium. Out of curiosity what's your average ticket/ST price? Mine's over £900 and it's not the dearest, I would guess the average price is around £6/700. It's just as well we play decent entertaining football because Levy wouldn't be able to maintain the ticket prices. Just trying to raise as much money as we can, a CL place (hopefully) creates the need to pay CL wages to players. Add to that the need to raise as much money for the new stadium, the final planning permission goes in on 13 February with work, all being well, starting in the Autumn.

It was announced the verdict was unanimous, the judge wouldn't accept a majority verdict.

Easy. Pardew. Got an eye for a bargain (Levy likes that), boyhood club, played for Spurs, wouldn't want huge wages. Nailed on tbh Pardew isn't buying the majority of the players. Nor is Redknapp. Then again, Redknapp doesn't do or know an awful lot. Can't read or write either apparently.................

Justice for the Pompey 2 ..................... as described on a Spurs forum

Monday night to Saturday evening is right on the limit of Ledley's recovery time ................ and that's assuming he didn't get a kick in the Liverpool game. That said, Kaboul and Dawson aren't bad and most of the absentees from last night are expected to be fit. A more important bearing on the game is both Tiote and Cabaye missing for you. 2-0 to Spurs is my guess.

Van der Vaart Lennon Sandro Defoe Kaboul Gallas Huddlestone VdV, Lennon, Sandro and Kaboul would have been nailed on starters. Spurs wanted Parker and Sandro as holding MF's allowing Lennon and Bale to give greater support to Adebayor. Well, that's what I was told.

I can understand your thinking, but I would've been happy with a point before the match so I shouldn't be unhappy with one after. When there are 6 or 7 players unavailable then I suppose the team isn't go to play with its usual style. Really pleased to see Dawson come back and play so well and Parker put in a performance like .... well, like Parker normally plays.

Same, actually really annoyed they've not mentioned it now, f***ing hell. Makes it even worse that Martin Jol has said it shouldn't have happened, implying he knows. Unreasonably p*ssed off here. I don't know what happened. There's talk that one of the lads who came on as a sub wasn't registered but if that is the case, it's down to Darren Eales who should have got the eligible ones registered. But a couple of the players have been asked and they've replied saying they are not allowed to say, which is strange to say the least. I sent a text off asking and got a simple 'dunno mate'. It's the players I feel sorry for, but they've been badly let down by the club.

FFS Sloppy work from Spurs. All well and good talking about the high integrity of the club, it shouldn't have happened. Simple as that. Cycad Enterprises, the organisers of the NextGen Series Tournament, today announced the withdrawal of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club from the competition following the Club making them aware of an inadvertent breach of a competition regulation. Tottenham Hotspur's Director of Football Administration Darren Eales said:“It is with regret that we have decided to withdraw from the semi finals of the NextGen Tournament due to an accidental breach of a competition regulation. We have done so fully respecting the Tournament regulations. “As a club, we stand for the highest levels of integrity and respect and there was no unfair advantage sought or gained. "Whilst hugely disappointing for players, staff and supporters, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support. We would also like to send Liverpool Football Club our very best wishes for the next round of the competition." Technical Co-Ordinator and Manager of Tottenham Hotspur's NextGen side Tim Sherwood said: "It was obviously disappointing when this was brought to my attention. It is, however, all about the development of players and individual talent so the most disappointing aspect for us is that we will not be able to play another game at such a competitive level this season. "The tournament has given us a great opportunity to see the best of other footballing cultures and many of our squad have proved that they are as good as any in Europe." Mark Warburton, Head of Football for the tournament, made the following response: “Following conversations with senior Tottenham Hotspur officials we have agreed to accept their withdrawal from the semi final stages of the event. "This is hugely unfortunate and we are sorry to see that such a hard fought encounter as witnessed at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night should have this conclusion. However, we can only applaud the Club for demonstrating such impeccable levels of sportsmanship and for acting in a manner which recognises the good spirit of both the Tournament and the game itself. "We thank both clubs for their help and support in making this first year of the event such a success and we look forward to re-welcoming Liverpool to the semi-finals." Liverpool Football Club will now progress to the semi final stage where they will face the winners of the FC Barcelona versus Ajax encounter which takes place next week, February 8th.

Danny Rose says you don't want to mess with Sandro. If I was the same size as DR I'd probably be saying the same. http://www.twitvid.com/ZIVCR

in addition to that injury? has been started training again? Caused by training on Friday. Probably rushed back too soon by Wenger. Arsenal seem to get an abnormally high number of longterm injuries especially for a club that is supposed to excel in sports science. They often rush back their star players, out of necessity. Apart from RVP or Wilshere, what star players?? Fábregas last season is a great example of what I say, got crooked soon after they rushed his return because they needed him so badly. Do agree with you, I was being sarcastic. The need to rush players back is all down to Wenger's refusal to buy players with experience as squad players and believing that the current crop of youngsters as those when Fábregas was 16. Yes, they have injuries, but that happens to all teams during the course of the season. Still, Wenger won't change his stance and I for one am happy with that!! On a change of subject, the Spurs kids beat the Liverpool counterparts 1-0 in the QF of the NextGen Series tonight. We now meet the winners of Ajax v Barca in the semi-final. Assuming Barca will win, I would guess our cup run will be at an end as our record against Barca in the past couple of years hasn't been good, 4-0 in Mexico and 2-1 in the Eurofoot. Still, it will give Ceballos the chance to meet up with old friends...............

Off now to WHL to watch the NextGen (CL competition for u19's) QF between Spurs and Liverpool. Spurs should have Souleymane Coulibaly and Milos Veljkovic amongst others, Liverpool Conor Coady and Raheem Sterling. Should be a decent match. The winners will face either Ajax (not likely) or Barca (probable). It's on Liverpool TV at 6.30 if you want to watch something before Blackburn tonight.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

I thought only John Terry would get away with a challenge like that. Quite handy that BAE's got away with it as as he would have missed Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal. Even handier for Spurs that Cabaye will be missing at WHL. -

Surprised the FA never added 1 game on for being frivolous. All appeals are frivolous if they're not from Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea or Arsenal. -

As a Spurs fan, I'm certainly not p*ssed off, I think we've got to the stage where it's harder to get the players who will significantly improve what we've got at reasonable cost (especially in the january window). There seems to be a general optimism that Leandro will be signed in the summer and that there is already an agreement to sign Adebayor for £8m and Ade will accept £100k. If that's correct, a short term signing (6 months with a further year's option) for Saha makes a lot of sense. Pav had to go, wasn't interested and it showed and Levy wasn't going to say no to £11m for him. The same can be said about Ryan Nelson. There's little doubt that Bassong will benefit from more playing time than he would have got at Spurs and in the summer it's fair to assume that Caulker and Naughton will return from their respective loans. I would have liked a backup for Bale and Lennon but Krasic wanted more than Levy was prepared to pay and Blackburn wanted silly money for Hoilett who is out of contract in the summer. So disappointed? A bit but p*ssed off? No. On the contrary, with some of the youngsters we've got out on loan and coming through the Academy, new Training Centre operational this summer, new stadium (and the revenue that generates) coming fairly soon I'm still more optimistic than I have been for an awful long time.

I've heard about Krasic to Spurs on loan, Pienaar/Saha possible loan swap, but Defoe to the Scousers? No, I'd be staggered if that happened.
