  1. that's no age, 32 far too young. RIP
  2. Breastia? Nipoli? ------ Bizarre reports in Italy today are claiming that Pornhub wants to offer its sponsorship to an Italian football team for a year. It remains to be seen if there are any takers at the moment, but the adult website will supposedly be accepting bids from Italian sides ahead of next season, Corriere dello Sport claims. A team’s choice of shirt sponsors can be a controversial thing in football and this would almost certainly be one of the most memorable. Pornhub have sponsored a team in the UK before, leading to Kent University side Rutherford Raiders being banned from their league. http://metro.co.uk/2015/11/09/pornhub-offers-sponsorship-to-italian-football-team-for-one-year-report-5489712/
  3. So much for never walking alone.
  4. Jamaal Lascelles says Newcastle are ''battering teams every week'' but must start winning games Defender Lascelles, who nearly headed a winner last Saturday, said: “We need to start cashing in a bit. “We need to get three points, we can’t just keep getting a point every week or losing. We need to kick on and start moving our way up the table. “We’ve put up some good games against some really good teams. “We’re getting the chances, we’re getting the balls in good areas and we’re having lots of shots on target, it’s just not dropping for us – but as the season goes on I’m sure it will. “We’re battering teams every week. It’s just the goals — but they’ll come.” The summer signing says he is “patient” as he waits to make a Premier League start, which could come on the South Coast if Daryl Janmaat is injured. He added: “There’s a lot of competition at the back so I’m not going to be expecting to play, but I’m ready if needed.”
  5. Ayoze has been likened to Aguero too. Aren't we lucky to have 2 Aguero's
  6. Bundesliga club Hoffenheim have appointed a 28-year-old who has yet to pass his senior coaching exams as their manager from next season, which will make him the youngest ever boss in the German top flight. Julian Nagelsmann has signed a three-year deal with the Bundesliga strugglers. The club sacked Markus Gisdol on Monday, appointing 61-year-old Huub Stevens as his successor until the end of the campaign, with the Dutchman tasked with keeping struggling Hoffenheim up. 'We know this is a courageous step but we see in him (Nagelsmann) such a huge coaching talent that we want to give him a prospect,' Hoffenheim sports director Alexander Rosen told a news conference at Stevens' presentation. Briefly an assistant coach during the 2012-13 campaign, Nagelsmann will remain with the Under 19 team until the end of the season as he continues studying for his senior coaching licence. 'I am looking forward to a very tempting task and I would like to thank everybody for the trust and the opportunity given to me,' Nagelsmann, who coached Hoffenheim's junior team to the 2014 German title, said in a club statement. Hoffenheim, backed by billionaire Dietmar Hopp, are in 17th place with one win and six points from their first 10 games of the season.
  7. probably why both he and Cabella were both played primarily as number 10's and not shunted on the wing as we've done. Same goes with Viana when he was here. Not that any of them have convinced me they'll do any better .....
  8. would like to think Aarons would get a chance on the wing with Anita / Gini in central midfield and Sissoko on the other wing. 99.9% sure it will be Tiote - Anita in the middle though.
  9. saw that as well and other sites have latched onto this "Thauvin wants out in January" story. Utter bollox as you say, no quotes
  10. Playing like Cafu in the Scottish lower leagues
  11. Joint top scorer with Cavani now. Quality goals
  12. So did Jak Alnwick.....and against Chelsea Let's not go overboard but yeah, hopefully Mbabu keeps his performances up!
  13. was listening to the Spanish La Liga podcast earlier with Sid Lowe (Guardian / AS Spain correspondent) and apparently one of the theories why Valencia have been struggling so far has been the loss / influence of Cathro. Was very highly rated there.....Though I'm not sure if Phil Neville coming in as his replacement has anything to do with their struggles
  14. probably wouldn't get away with this these days!
  15. “He has a future at Newcastle and the top level." http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/sammy-ameobi-big-newcastle-united-10043018
  16. Have a friend coming from abroad with his kid, massive Toon fan and wondering if it's possible to get a glimpse of the players at the training ground in Benton? What time do the players normally come in / leave? If his kid can get an autograph or something as they drive in even he would be made up....his fatha too
  17. not sure about him. Rated highly 2 seasons ago but voted in the worst XI of Ligue 1 last season. Would have thought his value had dropped significantly , well at least not the 12m range http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/may/25/divock-origi-liverpool-lille-ligue-1-worst-team-of-season
  18. asked about him on a Belgian footy forum seeing as I know nowt about him Chancel is very strong and fast, a great tackler, he can mark his man out of the game, he's hard to beat in 1v1 situations, ... yet there's a little bit of rashness to his game (less rash than Kompany was at his age) and he should improve his focus, reading of the game, positioning (only struggles slightly and his strenghts allow him to make up for this). Also he's composed on the ball, has good technique, decent passing, he's a threat in the air, ... everybody rates him highly and he should prove to be a steal.
  19. been a while since a European could potentially win the Libertadores again in Gignac
  20. https://mobile.twitter.com/Toon_Fan_1/status/585730366318718976?s=04 Either Defoe is a black Jesus or benefit fraud is still rife on Wearyside? #nufc #safc pic.twitter.com/4tA72y3zA2
  21. Majority of Rangers fans weren't that fussed on Vuckic. Lazy, greedy and hid in a lot of games. Really? I used to check on a Rangers forum and they loved him. Doesn't always give a true view though I guess. yeah 8 goals in 17 games isn`t too shabby as a return for a lazy greedy player. I read that Rangers wanted to keep him but the Slovenia coach didn`t want him playing in the Scottish 2nd div
