  1. Would have Bellingham ahead of ESR like.
  2. Aye, that sounds right Fuck me what an idiot he is
  3. To take the absolute shower of shite he inherited, and injuries to the three best players in the squad to where we are now is nowt short of incredible. Wood is the only player we've spent significant money on that's played a part of this run, and he's hardly set the world alight.
  4. When did we last go 7 unbeaten in the PL?
  5. Was quite busy at work while the game was on, was absolutely certain VAR was looking for a reason to send Targett off. Was fuming when I saw the red card, as I hadn't seen the incident properly and thought it was given against Targett for a tackle from behind or something
  6. Ragnick is doing a pretty terrible job at Man Utd mind. I feel like every team that play Man U have a great game. They are making it too easy to play against them. We played arguably our best game this season against them, and would have beaten them comfortably had Wilson and ASM stayed on the pitch. I am very, very happy we ended up with Howe over Ragnick now like.
  7. He's not "attack attack attack" though. He's quite similar to Klopp, in that he wants his teams to press high up, and with a lot of intensity. I would personally disagree with your assessment that a world class manager changes his philosophy to accommodate the players, it's the complete opposite for me. Would you see a Pep, Klopp or Rafa change their philosophies to suit their players? Not a chance. He's not a world class manager though, and I don't think anyone would claim that he is. He's a good manager, probably about on par with the likes of Hassenhüttl. His methods are far more entertaining than most other managers though, which is why he's so popular.
  8. Apologies if it came off as condescending, wasn't my intention. I don't even rate Bielsa particularly highly overall, but he's done an excellent job with Leeds.
  9. Literally no one has said that, or anything close to it If you can't see the attraction of someone getting a medoicre championship tram promoted to finishing in the top 10 in their first season in the Premier league while playing very entertaining football, I don't understand why you even bother with the sport tbh
  10. Everyone has spent more than us man
  11. Spoiler tag that filth man Don't mind laughing at Baconhead, but I need to be prepared for it.
  12. That just seems like par for the course for any championship team that want to stay in the Premier League these days. Raphinha for 18m is an absolute bargain like. Would be over the moon if we signed him for twice that in the summer.
  13. Provided we're still in it, the Premier League is better for having Leeds in it than someone like Brentford or Burnley, so would like them to stay up. I'm really not sure whether Bielsa going is a good thing or not for them though. It didn't happen last year, or their final championship season, but Bielsa is infamous for his teams being way worse in the second half of the season, presumably because all the players are knackered due to his style of football and training. If that's the case now, then bringing someone else in probably isn't going to sort things out for the rest of the season.
  14. Everton now the same us as us to go down (4/1), with Leeds and Brentford more likely (3/1) than us and Everton. Bottom 3 are still favourites, especially Norwich are pretty much gone according to the bookies, but it's quite reassuring that despite Burnley winning their last two our odds have stayed the same. If we beat Brentford on Saturday, I really can't see us being involved in the relegation battle any more.
  15. Especially since he can cover both full back positions.
  16. What I don't understand is that WBA fans should know just how bad he is after he's managed both Birmingham and Villa.
  17. Possibly because there's not been anyone in our team that can play those passes. Only took Bruno a couple of minutes to find ASM with a through ball against Everton.
  18. Would love for us to be able to do what Man City are doing to Palmer (and Foden before him) down the line. Chuck them on when winning comfortably and let them adapt to top level football by playing with their future team mates.
  19. I'd say we're pretty much safe if we win this. Means we go above Brentford, who have other relegation candidates in their next couple of games, so there will be points dropped for someone there. A draw would be fine, a loss means we're looking over our shoulders again, but we should still not panic.
  20. Can't get my head round wanting Leeds to go down. Proper big club, play good football, massive fan base and are quite northern. Much rather have them in the PL than shite like Burnley stinking the league up for another season.
  21. And even as a striker, he's playing a decent part of that.
  22. They are where they are in the league on merit mind. Finished in a similar position last season as well, so would say they are that good. I don't think they had any players out as well. Looking at our six last league games, there's been a lot of teams that has been shite against us. We should probably be giving credit to us being good rather than saying everyone we're playing being shite by now like.
