Anyone else thought that looked like a dive from Keane?

Went for the triple, but left the single out. Arsenals team looks a bit too strong to be comfortable in betting on Spurs.

Thinking of doing a triple with Birmingham, mackems and Wolves. Waiting to see the starting elevens though. Might do a single on Spurs as well.

I'd say about 2 or 3. I would have been at about a 5 before the season, but I have been well impressed with our start. The way we're passing it and creating chances have been much better than anyone would have expected. That and the additions of Tiote and Ben Arfa should see us being safe a few games before the end of the season.

Love him. Deserves massive credit for what he's done with this group of lads. We're looking more comfortable on the ball in the Premier League than we did during large parts in the Championship, our defense is looking better than I can ever remember and his signings has all been brilliant, the right backs being the exception.

I've just watched a few highlights again, how Horne and the other co-commentator can say that is not a penalty is beyond me. Love Ben Arfas run and pass to set up Carroll, sublime stuff. He just brushes past Jagielka like he wasn't even there.

Not only was it a cracking pass, his first touch to bring the ball down by the half way line was sublime and he carried the ball forward well after that too. Would certainly have been "his" goal if Nolan hadn't been fouled.

I remember seeing him for Lyon a few years ago, can't remember if it was in the CL or a league game, but it was one of those games where you noticed a young player who was absolutely terrific and you say to yourself "that lad will be immense in a couple of years". I just cannot believe that he is now playing for us.

Wasn't his debut(that was last week), but good as it was, it wasn't as good as Supermac's second in his home league debut against Liverpool in 71...was from a tighter angle and struck across Ray Clemence with enormous power into the roof of the net. Both goals probably as important in establishing each player as a folk hero. He didn't say it was his debut, he said it was his FULL debut.

I'm still amazed that he a) seemed to be desperate to join us and b) that we actually got him the end. Ben Arfa is streets ahead of what we've got, and tbf, he's streets ahead of what most teams got.

That would be suicide I really want to see Ben Arfa though, the lad is so much better than anything we've got. I still find it hard to believe that we signed a player of his quality.
