  1. As usual. Up there with the best. 25 goals and top scorer!
  2. Really worrying this. We need things sorted asap. and then go back to Shearer. All the players want him, the fans want him. Any owner that comes in, they simply won't have an option.
  3. http://www.newcastle.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=155875 Don't know about the reliability, but from what I've seen and heard Surman would be a very good signing.
  4. He's had some tough times here but always showed heart and has been gradually improving. Remember that story about the club wanting to sell him and then he came out and said he didn't care and that he wanted to stay and fight instead? Not players with that attitude in our squad. I think him and Beye would be promotion material as fullbacks.
  5. Six weeks ago, Wise left around then didn't he?
  6. I'll miss him a lot. Cared a lot and showed glimpses of being a very, very good striker. His first seasons was a pure joy to watch.
  7. I'll be moving to Leeds for studies so I'm hopefully going to every single one from January and forward. How long will it take me to get to Newcastle from Leeds? And will ticket prices be much lower in the Championship?
  8. Duff will be a good squad player and better than most left-wingers we'd be able to aquire in the Championship. Cut his wages and I'd happily keep him.
  9. Kruls time has come, no doubt. The over-estimation of Harpers ability has been painfully revealed to us since he became first choice.
  10. I want to see Krul in goal with Harper as back-up. Krul could become a top class keeper for us. ------------------Krul----------------- Beye---Taylor------New------Kadar New----Guthrie---Nolan---New -----------Viduka---New----------- Ameobi, Ranger, Butt, Carroll, Harper, Lua-Lua and a couple of other youngsters will be in the squad. I think Beye and Viduka might stay. Beye seems to care a lot for the club, and Viduka doesn't seem to keen on moving on again. My hope is that a couple of the players feel ashamed of themselves and wants to do themselves justice by bringing us back up, but that's not very likely to be the case in todays football.
  11. I threw up when I got back home and saw pictures of Taylor crying etc. Was a combination of alcohol from yesterday and the emotional inferno. Still feel sick... this has to go down as one of the worst days of my life.
  12. Becchio is the one to buy from Leeds, not Beckford. Beckford's the one scoring for fun? We'll need goals...
  13. Does anyone think we have ANY chance of keeping Enrique and Beye? Steven Taylor is staying, I'd imagine we'll keep Viduka, Guthrie, Nolan, Butt, Edgar, Harper, Ameobi and Carroll. Maybe Duff for some reason. The rest is gone.
  14. We're already in possession of a Championship side obviously
  15. Shocking team that was out there today. Isolated the forwards with Guthrie and Nolan losing the ball constantly. Shocking decision to bring on Shola in favour of Jonas (bye bye). Last time we saw Oba, Owen, Colo, Enrique and probably a few others in action. I'll miss Oba immensly.
  16. Completley surreal this. Can't believe it's actually happend. Im crying my eyes out and I'm on the verge of throwing up. Worst day of my life.
  17. Really should be made captain next season. Think his commitment is a rarity in todays football, and we'll desperatley need someone who knows what it means to play for Newcastle when we rebuild the team in the forthcoming years.
  18. These f****** nerves. Can't take it right now. I'll love this club until the day I die, but we need Premier League football and the Premiership needs us. This mustn't happen.
  19. Dabizas cared for the cause. He was playing with his heart, something we really lack today. Given Bellamy Solano Robert Dyer Jenas Speed Shearer Hughes Griffin Woodgate O'Brien Lua-Lua Acuña Good times..
  20. At my friends house. Two others that support Spurs and Chelsea, and me. I started talking about relegation early in the season, and they thought I was overreacting. Then they started to taunt me because of our poor form, but after the Fulham game, things have turned bizarre. They're almost as depressed as I am, so I'll probably have their support on Sunday. Really have no idea how I'll react if the unthinkable happens. How do you prepare yourself for something like this?
  21. I feel sick 24h a day. This is probably the worst week of my life so far. Unbelievable feeling this, every morning I wake up scared to death that Sunday edges closer.
  22. Seitaridis would be a very good signing. I think we were after him a couple of seasons ago, and we need to sign fullbacks with the injuries that Beye and Enrique have been suffering this season.
  23. Regarding Milner and Zog, they were players who in one way or another often contributed to us creating chances, something we haven't been doing all season. Can't remember the last time we created a chance through passing the ball and making forward runs. Maybe Duff vs. Spurs. Anyway, we have the most unbalanced squad in the Premiership, no playing philosophy, no confidence among the players, four different managers, loads of injuries to supposed "key" players, no leadership on the pitch and a fitness level that leads to us not being able to perform for 90 minutes. Of course we're going down.
