All I hope is that this little run has instilled enough confidence in the team to fight it out for the rest of the season. I don't think I'm being unreasonable to say Trippier will still more than earn his salary solely with his presence. He must be a big reason for the culture shift and he can continue that even if he can't do it from the pitch.
-
Maybe that's why he's being careful with Bruno. Try and shake the curse.
-
Fuck off. I'd say you couldn't make it up but it's textbook NUFC.
-
Has it turned that sour at Villa now? Doesn't seem that long ago I was still seeing 'we should've gone for Gerrard' type comments.
-
Even down to just how much he was geeing up Krafth as he was coming off, man. This guy is the heartbeat of this team. Please be okay.
-
Wasn't paying full attention so I could be wrong but did Mings avoid him when he was going for post-match handshakes? Don't know if I just caught a glimpse after the handshake had already happened or not.

I may be getting ahead of myself here but there's just a Rafa/Keegan 2nd stint feeling about this three match run. Just feels like he's now had enough time to get it drummed in to the players what he wants, and it's starting to show. Most evidenced by the press doing its job more and more. I do wonder if the horrendous conditioning of the past two years is what's causing our players to start dropping like flies though, with how much more he's asking of them. Although that obviously can't be leveled at the Trippier injury.

Let's drop one more to 3. The table looks so fucking sexy. Fingers crossed over the next three games we can start thinking about the next mini league instead of our relegation rivals.

Christ what a win. So big. Could barely contain my nerves that whole second half though. Big Joe a man mountain as ever. Big Dan Burn more than deserving his Big MOTM and Stuff. Amazing resilience from everyone considering we had to re-group twice from full back injuries. Every one of them should be proud of themselves. It wasn't pretty by any stretch hut you can't fault the application of any of them.
-
These injuries. Give it a fucking rest.

That fuckwit isn't even worth the Twitter Nonsense thread tbh.

Couldn't get it through my head that this was about KK at first and thought 'when did Cole leave us a second time?'.
-
There'll be an extra level of satisfaction if if he can grow as a manger along with the club as we (hopefully) climb the league over the next few years. Just an added perk to it all if we don't need to ship him out to kick on in the next few years. Speaks so well and is clearly just a good bloke. A genuine good bloke.
-
If we've Manq and Burn available then I won't be as concerned about him sitting out to get right. Fingers crossed for some good news by Sunday, though.
-
I'll always have a soft spot for him but I'd like to think we'll be aiming higher if we stay up.
-
I'd throw him an offer out of morbid curiosity to see just how principled his mackemness is. If he went to accept I'd instantly rescind it.

Shelvey moved to the bench for me without a moment of hesitation. A known quantity and a general liability (as others have said, the cracking result on Tuesday could have been very different if we had a harsher ref making the decision on that first half tackle). And from what I've read, it seems anything Shelvey can do, Bruno can do better. At least the two Joes give the impression of still having room to improve, and may push on with such a classy player helping them along. I won't be entirely surprised if Bruno doesn't come in to the XI on Sunday, though. Can imagine Howe will find it very hard to make that decision after such a good win.

Tbf if I was unfortunate enough to follow them I'd probably be thinking why not at this stage. If they're going to be a shambles of a club why not get proper weird with it?
-
Crying over a fucking 'exclusive'. Who do these people think they are? Luke Edwards? Just rename this thread Twitter Nonces and be done with it.
-
Think I saw some talk that they wanted someone with a bit more going forward but we can ignore that with ASM ahead of him and Trippier opposite.
-
I'm sure he's simply enjoying the love from the fans in general right now but I can see him carving himself a real lasting adoration from the fans with being the first player we couldn't have previously dreamed of to give this new era a chance. Could truly end up being the on-field symbol of our rise if the rest of this season goes right.

I'd like it known I'm not looking to make money out of it if it happened. Was more about the logistics of getting someone access while I'm the other end of the country.

As a dirty southerner, if I was to attempt (and somehow succeed in) getting a season ticket next year, would it be fairly straightforward to pass entry on to a local to make use of if ever I couldn't make it to a match? Based on the demand I know I'd only have a slim chance anyway but I don't want a seat to go to waste if I can't make it so would be a big factor in whether I even bother to queue.

I know it's not perfect considering the mess of postponed games during the period, but the league table since Howe arrived puts us 11th: https://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables/competition:premier-league/daterange/fromdate:2021-Nov-19/todate:2022-Jun-01/type:home-and-away/ Shout out to an Ipswich Town fans' site for having such a handy date feature for a league they're two tiers away from.
