  1. As always, you can wank a transfer model off until the cows come home while it's producing. But sooner or later with such little wiggle room, one or two duds are going to have a big impact.
  2. I discounted him from my list purely because he was never truly 'permanent', was he? Even if he probably wasn't far off lasting as long as McClaren.
  3. And they still should have.
  4. Could we feasibly persuade Forest to take all our duds with the promise that they'll become world beaters with them? The track record is there.
  5. He was better than little old Newcastle all along, mate. Just accept it.
  6. I'm confused. Why are they checking here? He's surely onside here?
  7. Seriously, I thought last week would be the start of a Forest slide. Resilient pack of fuckers.
  8. As predicted. An interesting weekend.
  9. It's quite sad how much of an argument you could make for so many based on different criteria. Souness did the most damage considering what he had to work with on arrival. Whilst I wasn't quite old enough to fully understand, I'd say Dalglish is second but with more mitigating factors with the club seemingly pushing the need for sales. And he did sign some players that would become important for us. Bruce edges Pards for most intolerable piece of shit thanks to his insincere local lad patter. Yet McLaren was somehow the most rudderless out of all of them, which is impressive in its own twisted way. Quite simply out of his depth to the point I can't even hate him despite the resulting relegation. I hate Bruce most.
  10. This is the most pessimistic Yorkie post I think I've ever seen.
  11. Poor Cardi's notifications popping off right now.
  12. Plus a needlessly excessive loan fee like half the other teams get, too.

    Paul Mitchell

If that's all you're after give me the job I've got both bases covered.
  14. Al Ahli will have gotten more in loan fees than they paid us by the time he leaves them for good. Such a crock of shit.
  15. Yeah I think he could go back there with the PL experience and feel a bit more like a proper big fish in a small pond. I'd love it for him and the fans too as they really do seem to love him.
  16. So pleased to see him get so much love. Are Atlanta expecting a good season? Just looked at their squad and the only name I recognise is a 40 year Brad Guzan between the sticks.
  17. Maybe bias but those Atlanta announcement videos are awesome, clearly means something to them to have him back. Hope he smashes it back there.
  18. Can't believe we've decided to cash in on one of our young guns. Emblematic of the PSR age we now live in.
  19. Sorry if this has already been posted elsewhere, and I refuse to pollute the Isak thread with it. But it's impressive to stretch out the defence of your paymasters for almost 15 minutes. Absolute guff.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

I'm well up for us banging on about Saka in response to their concerted Isak effort tbh. I imagine their fans with have a proper hissy fit over it too, the hypocritical bellends.
  21. I still wish we could've seen what he could do under Rafa for longer. I'm sure this has been done to death but we looked so good when he arrived on the left of that front three with Rondon and Perez. I understand ASM rightly had first dibs on his best position and maybe it was just the novelty of having someone busting a gut to impress, but Miggy looked so exciting when he arrived. Even if it wasn't translating to goals and assists he almost seemed to be the assist to the assist every week or so.
  22. Tbf as fun as their shit run was, they're now unbeaten in 6 and and that 11 game table will be taking that more in to account than their 1 win in 9 run. For once it looks like they're not going to overhaul whoever is ahead of them for the title, but at this point I'd be surprised if they haven't secured a CL spot with relative ease come the end of the season.
