  1. Is it good editing by MOTD or did Liverpool dominate that game? Is it a sign they're finally turning around?
  2. Really? That's nuts. I can't even do that on Fifa on amateur
  3. Watching MOTD2, Arsenal 66% possession against Man Citty Don't normally see that.
  4. I'd rather we didn't alter what has been a stable central defence pairing just because we've got Sol Campbell. As much as I'd love to see what he can do for us, neither deserve to be dropped for him. Although this argument's been had a lot on this board recently.
  5. have to say i was all for Krul being number 1 but seeing Krul in a run of premiership games he is not ready for it yet IMO , his kicking with his right foot needs a lot of work. Hes not done a lot wrong and made no howlers but id like to see him get a loan run somewere but cant see that happening this season. I hate Harper but to say krul has made no howlers is being a bit generous mind. He didn't cover himself in glory for Wigans goals last week and last night was too busy waving at the linesman appealing for offside rather than attempting to either cut out the cross to Cole or attempting to save from Cole. He was all over the shop in the 1st 20 minutes last night but settled down a bit and did command his area pretty well. Couldn't really judge his 2nd half performance as we were so on top i honestly can't remember him even touching the ball in the 2nd half. I argued this with people at the time but should Krul have come out for the first goal? I felt he done the right thing considering there were 2 defenders already attempting to cover the opponents. Which one? Wigan? If so then yes i think he should. No mate, Cole's goal yesterday.

  7. Shit, really? I did wonder why it died out so quickly. I feel bad for never buying anything now
  8. I'd buy it. N-O shop, make it happen!
  9. He's wrong on both counts, but I still think we would have done it - discounting Chris/Colin and then Shearer. Just barely. I do, too. But it would have gone right to the wire. We would've survived, but we just would've gone down the next season after Kinnear got handed a new contract and he finally managed to shift out the likes of Jose. And we would've been in a much worse position to bounce straight back up like last season.
  10. I've always said it and I havn't swayed from it, no.
  11. The man is amazing. It's small interviews like that, he's bigging up our young players and his future rivals to shine. He's talking about passing knowledge on whilst also continuing to learn himself. Fills me with so much happiness
  12. I'm more than confident in Krul to keep his place when Harper comes back. He's growing in confidence with each game, as was expected. He hasn't disappointed.

    Colin Calderwood

    You would assume so.
  14. If it weren't for a deflection it looked like he was going to get one today. Has a fierce shot. When I saw him trying to find space I was just sat there thinking 'he's not going to surely' and then when that ball rocketed off his foot I was sure it was going in!
  15. I've started feeling that myself of late, everything that becomes popular opinion on here soon gets tried by Hughton.. Coincidence?
  16. My only concern is I don't even want Smith in the second string
  17. Nail on the head. Hughton's got the away, pressure them, tactics down. But at home he seems to try to employ the same type of tactics, give or take a couple of variations. Mix that with the pressure of the home fans getting more twitchy as the game goes on and we fail to break them down, the team falls to pieces, and the opposition takes advantage, in the way that we do when we're away.
  18. The man's amazing. I just grinned everytime I saw him charge at them. Another player I can confidently say I feel 100% comfortable when they get the ball.
  19. Well every team I bet on today lost Apart from Forest. Was praying for Ipswich to pull one back for an hour, nothing. Would've got me a decent return
  20. Gone for some absolutely ridiculous ones today. £3 Forest 2-1 @ 15/2 £3 Villa -1 @ 11/2 £4 total on Fulham, Leicester, Sheff Utd treble and doubles.

    Wayne Rooney

I think this is just going to become ANOTHER yearly saga. Like Fabregas to Barca, Gerrard to leave Liverpool, what seems to now be Torres to leave Liverpool etc. Just another boring as fuck saga that comes to nothing for a long while before anything of note actually comes about.

    Wayne Rooney

That was obviously going to come. Rooney hasn't made the board cave, Man Utd have made Rooney cave 'Cause he hasn't got a massive payhike with a million clauses in this new contract
