  1. Oh, and after watching that post-match interview, is it me or does it sound like he's one of the foreigners that's going to get an awesome hybrid accent?

    Good in the air

I've been thinking this lately. We've got quite a big, physical team these days. And I feel completely comfortable at set pieces, they've got the ability, and they're set out, clearly know their roles, and I don't recall a single set piece into the box that Arsenal won.

I would absolutely love this to happen! Still can't believe there was once genuine talk of it when we had that friendly at SJP all those years ago
  4. When another owner comes in they'll be paying that debt interest-free to Ashley. He's basically just transferred the debt from the banks to himself. If I'm correct? I know jack about takeovers, finances etc though.
  5. The interview again. He just won't have talk about him. He came over straight to you to celebrate, what do you think that means?.. He scored a good goal, he wanted to celebrate Fantastic. Great tactics, team, everything. Was a bit sceptical when he put Ranger on, but it worked, done the job of Ameobi to a tee. Absolutely immense.
  6. Hero. The man won everything today. Love him.
  7. Fantastic today. If he can keep this form up, we're sorted as a first 11 in my opinion for the season. Nothing to worry about as long as injuries don't take too much of a toll.

    Sunderland...

People aren't. mackems are completely different entity my friend. In all fairness, that thread does seem to be filled with a few people that know it's a fucking ridiculous thing to gloat about going above the rivals that just raped you 5-1, and still have a game in hand. But there's still a high concentration of fucktards on that site it's unreal. Starting to believe also that that whole site is just an elaborate prank.
  9. The man was immense again today. So, Campbell on Wednesday?
  10. Jesus. Fucking. Christ. What can you say about this man? Nay, beast. If we can hold onto this guy, I'm not exaggeration, he could become Newcastle United. He could be the man that makes this season for us, he completes us. I genuinely sat there laughing as he held off 2 or 3 players and still set the ball off on its way to start an attack. The ball just gets stuck to his boot, how we got this £3-4 million FC Twente substitute, and he's become this. All credit to Hughton. My MOTM today tbf.
  11. Undecided. If we play like we have been, then easy win. but we need that consistency, seems to be our only issue this season.
  12. Wow, fair play on the research thomas. So baically, the 15 game mark is where the relegation fight generally sets in. Top 3, like you say, clears up pretty quickly. But the thing is, this season is the most open in a long time. I know that seems to be said most seasons. The champions are decided, that's Chelsea. Some of the rest is starting to clear up after today, Liverpool have dragged themselves up, same with Everton. But the bottom half is still all over the place. Overall though, I think we're in for quite a positive season, not to get my hopes up
  13. I think I'm developing a bit of man love...
  14. Was gonna say, we can't complain! Every other set of fans in the league must wonder what they need to do to get on tv when half our games are televised

    FA Cup 2010/11

Can't wait! I'm always following Wimbledon's results, want them to move up the leagues purely from a derby perspective, that will be some fucking spectacle.

Another faultless performance, done his job. Turning point?
  17. It doesn't remind me of Hitler tbh. I more think of a special needs child that's been allowed to run lose with scissors.
  18. He was absolutely fantastic today, I'm going to go against the grain and maybe say not MOTM material *tin hat*. But take nothing away from the lad, amazing performance, and I was more than confident in him the whole game, he didn't seem to be overawed, didn't flap, he was assured 90 minutes through. Very confident in the lad.
  19. The author? Where it just says 'Sunday Express Reporter'? Or have they since taken the name out in shame of such a horrific article?
  20. So the story is a sober Andy Carroll shagged a couple of birds in Nolans house? Would somebody think of the children! It's fine, Nolan's missus has taken them down south in disgust of Carroll, they're not there!!
  21. It's the usual product for me that was the issue. He was faffing around on the ball for too long, getting caught in possession and generally not making great choices when on the ball. Still important to the team as a whole, but not his best day.
  22. Tiote's my biggest interest too. And if Simpson will continue his good form.
