Based on pre-season form I've now subbed Neto for Almiron to save 0.5. Not sure I have the stones to keep him in the team before the deadline though

I'm not buying a new kit until Fun88 is gone, but damn they are doing a good job at trying to break me. Looks great.

Only seen the highlights now. Sexy stuff from Almiron. Think I enjoyed his pass to Trippier ahead of the first goal better than the goals themselves -
~20m for McNeil is bonkers if true. Still think he's a decent signing for them, and would probably have improved us as well, but surely there must be better out there for that price.

Maybe his performances were forgettable, because he started 9 times in the last 11 matches

As 3rd & 4th choices, Burn and Lascelles are comfortably adequate for a team trying to break into the top 8. -

Why do you always write about how you think Howe/ownership thinks, when it's fairly obvious it's how you want him/them to think?
-
One year he gets a personal chef, another he goes to anger management, then he learns it's not good to drink after workouts and now he's got a PT in Turkey during the summer. In 10 years he'll be one hell of a player.

Joelinton is Brunos new bff.
-
Imagine if that is true, and Forest is relegated. There's just no way they'll be able to move him on elsewhere on those wages. Primed to become this decades Jack Rodwell.

Of course

I wish!!!

I'll never understand why the topic of players/player families being hesitant to move to Newcastle is so often brought up. Newcastle is class, and shits all over every other place in the UK I've ever visited (Granted, that could in part be due to the places I've been to - Aberdeen, Peterhead, Hartlepool, Great Yarmouth, Stoke, Manchester, London and Newcastle). https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10855983/Callum-Wilson-giving-700-MILE-trips-family-bid-make-Englands-World-Cup-squad.html

Forgot the game was today. Good to see nobody is over reacting on the basis of a meaningless friendly. -
1. Strong wind 2. Ball takes a slight bounce right before hitting it Still funny though

So glad I never got into twitter beyond things that are posted on here and on a few discord servers. Proper brain rot territory, dunno how anyone can spend any length of time on it.

A few posts above: “No one has ever doubted Callum’s ability. He is an outstanding striker, and he showed that coming back from a long injury and performing well at the end of the season. I would love him to have an injury-free campaign. “Chris Wood did very well for the team last year and he is still with us and has trained very well. “We have others who can fill that role so we are not one dimensional. (Allan) Saint-Maximin has played there, Joelinton too. And also we have the transfer market still as an active thing for us.”

Such a shit article Starts with not knowing what vision was presented to Bruno: Whatever vision the owners had sold him, Bruno was buying it. Then continues later on to assume that they have promised him a lot: The challenge for Howe – and the owners who promised the Brazilian much in January Towards the end assuming Bruno expects immediate results: Bruno will not tolerate too many years watching the Champions League. His ambitions are just as lofty. Before ending the article with actual quotes from the guy himself, contradicting what has just been written: "We dream of the Champions League but it’s step by step. we need to be calm, and step by step we can arrive there."

Depends how the loan is structured. We're also trying alternative ways to get round FFP with loans + obligation to buy etc, and I'm sure this "option" is more connected to FFP, rather than PSG having an out if he doesn't perform as they had hoped.
