Same here. Not a pen.

Guess that's what ~£200m on two players can give you.

He's got some work to do then

Was comical how effortlessly he overtook Atleticos left back after knocking the ball past him. Clearly better with his left than right foot. The crosses after he got past his man were poor.

It seems high for sure, but I thought the same about the fees we paid for Isak, Trippier, Gordon, Barnes and to some extent Livramento and Hall too at the time which in hindsight has turned out to be good deals relatively to what we would expect to get back for them today. I try not to get too hung up on fees now. Very non-commital response, but whatever we are prepared to pay for a player, I'm ok with

Exactly the type of player we should be doing our outmost to bring in before its too late and bigger clubs start sniffing around. If Isak leaves, getting him and Wissa would be fantastic.

Swear to god, after a few key right wing genocidal cunts and Infantino he'd be pretty close to next on my list Why can't this world just come together and put the little shit on ignore. He'll dissapear from the face of the earth within a minute.

I don't think it was even that. He was just incapable of keeping his concentration throughout a full 90 minutes.

Can we arrange another pre-season friendly for Tuesday or Wednesday, preferrably against L2 standard or worse so we know what its like to win a football match before the season starts? -

Joe Headington had a terrible half there. -

Livramento not very happy with Barnes so far. Three times now he's been giving him shit for no making a specific pass or tracking back properly. -
They probably are based on how he has performed for them. Whether it will be a high fee in hindsight only time will tell, but we've done well in that regard so far.

Perhaps, but he's been like this for a long time. Players clearly have the freedom in this team to deviate from instructions with the expectation that others will cover for them. Look at Burn pressing their CB's out of the blue and Miley tucking in a CB on a few occasions today -

Miley has done well, but jesus fucking christ try to do something progressive once in a while. He clearly has the talent to do so much more, even if it means losing possession more often. It's like refuses to anything but 5 yard sideway and backwards passes unless he is 150% certain something else is open. -
Being able to jog without looking like falling over at every other step, and have an actual first touch makes him look a hell of a lot better when we have possession.

Fuck it, might as well get ahead of ourselves. I'd probably go safe with paprika, but it's a bit boring just by istelf so need to add a bit of salt or salt & vinegar seasoning.

First 20 pages will be people complaining about the prices that are being quoted. Same people will become impatient by page 40 and have started to fantasize about what positive stuff he can bring to the table. Rumours will fizzle out or he'll go to another club by page 100 and the last 20 pages will be various irrational posts about PIF incompetence, Howe's shortlist, how it somehow is Mitchells fault, the cartel clubs conspiring against us and some random shit like best combo of spices to use on air fried chickpeas.
-
I'd be extremely surprised if the same people running the Saudi league has anything to do with the people following up us, and even more surprised if they acutally talk and collaborate together to align strategies between the two. PIF is just too big of a beast. I imagine the people running Al Halal or Bin Tittifad doesn't give a flying fuck if a player they want means a competitor of NUFC would get rid of a player they don't want and enables them to weaken NUFC. I don't think that's unreasonable either.

Or if there were negotiations taking place at all.

Everyone should read sell-on as a percentage of a profit on the next sale. Ain't no way anyone demands nor accepts a % of the entire fee these days. Think Southampton are fairly reasonable ihere f that report is accurate. Probably the highest rated U19 player from England, with a full season of experience from PL. Played quite a bit for Southampton season before in the Championship too.

He really is footballs bad luck Brian
