I want to celebrate but all I feel is relief.

Not sure I'll believe it until I see the official announcement. But still, what a fucking day!

Possibly the case last week scared the league, or their insurers.
-
Dire defending and disjointed attacking.

Absolute insanity. It doesn't even scream of someone who doesn't know what they're doing, since even an imbecile would aim to swap like with like where possible. This is him desperately trying something, anything, to fix problems he has created but having no clue what's going on around him.

The club are astonishingly bad at PR. They just have no idea what they're doing, assuming that they're not deliberately trying to piss the fans off that is.

Such a self-destructive team

I kind of hope that a lot of these family trips to the match are punishments for the kids being dicks all summer. If you don't mow the grass I'll take you to watch Newcastle!

Since I live in an area that was affected by the Bilsdale radio transmitter failure, I ended up listening to Talksport a couple of times in the morning as I couldn't receive any other radio stations beyond that and a local BBC station (that plays disco music during the time I listen). What a fucking awful station. I have no idea how anyone can subject themselves to that utter bollocks for any prolonged period of time. It's 50% adverts and 50% "banter". I'm not sure there's a word to describe just how fucking dreadful that station is. I went back to listening to disco when I woke up and I fucking hate disco.

Another dismal performance, helpfully covered up by an equally disgraceful refereeing performance.

If you need a fucking microscope to check an offside decision, it should not be offside. It should favour the attacker.
-
Crap passing, woeful defending and lacklustre pressing. Just another 37 games of this shit.
-
Utterly meaningless when the state-owned clubs can just arrange for a new half-time orange sponsor to bump their revenue enough to meet any cap.
-
Absolute insanity that we didn't try to sign Josh King. Free & previously played alongside 2 of our players, should have been a complete no-brainer.

Can't believe how bad England have been, Kane & Sterling especially. It's like watching Newcastle.

Man City seemed so overly cautious throughout the game, so many safe passes that went nowhere. Reminded me of a team facing relegation where players will avoid making a risky pass so they can't be blamed for losing the ball.
