That may be so, but pretty much every time we've bought a player we haven't really heard of he's turned out to be utter shit. Not to mention the tens of millions wasted on more established players like Anita, MYM, Cabella etc. Some of that is down to coaching. You could easily argue that all 3 of those mentioned are glaringly physically unsuited to English football yet they cost over £20m.

It's far more relevant than good form when he was in his mid-20s. Naturally he's only got worse since 2013.

Not sure how you can use stats from a run of games from almost 5 years ago to advocate his ability now, like. He's noticeably slower since then and clearly hasn't really learnt a thing in that time either. More recently performances against Liverpool (0-6) spring to mind.
