if Spurs are not a 'one man team', i don't know who is.. true, Friedel is having a great season, but Rovers are a clever passing side without any brilliant individuals (except Bentley).. compare that to Spurs, where 90% of the time they give the ball to Berbatov, so that he can play a clever pass or something.. without him, they're nothing special attacking-wise..

they don't.. they just go with the flow

it'd be nice if Keegan responds to that with something like "yeah, but he wanks his dog you know"

i don't even consider Pattison a player, so it has to be Smith, he's been awful in every game he's featured..apart from the Arsenal draw and it's not like he tore them apart either.. awful signing.

not that many smack rats have kids, im all for giving them massive amounts of methodone laced with contraceptive drugs so these scummers cant breed. not many smack rats are interested in football either, there mainly interested in where there getting their next tenner bag from. Would be cany for their support workers though, free tickets and getting paid in work time to watch the match! bet they even get time and a half if its on a saturday! cnuts We've got a canny few on here though... they must log on from the library then, trust me i deal with these w@nkers every day, and if they had there own computer they would have sold it along with their grandmother to buy skag!! nah, i prefer stealing other people's possessions..

He's not a team player. He's always running down blind alleys and giving the ball away in the process. Dyer was better at what N'Zogbia thinks he's best at. Funny, because they way I see it he has been putting in our most dangerous crosses this season, and that was playing as a left back. Also, in the first half of the season he was one of the very few players capable of scoring or creating a goal even though he was out of position. He takes chances, hence he may lose the ball more often than some of our more mediocre players who don't and he isn“t as consistent yet as you would want, but I thought we had said goodbye to percentage football and welcomed a more attacking, flair style of play? It's funny how a few good results without him in the team and a few articles about doubts over his future seem to have affected how he is perceived as a footballer. For me, he is still one of the first names on the teamsheet. He is still young and learning and more importantly, he is a confidence player, so he should perhaps most of our bunch of players profit from Keegan's approach. At left back, he got tonnes of space provided for him by Milner to do his attacking work, but was a complete liability defensively. So tell me, which of our other non-left-back-attacking-midfielders would have done a much better job out of position? Hypothetically, would you say no to C. Ronaldo because he would constitute a liability if played in central defense? He's our best winger and arguably our best attacking midfielder at this point in time. To not get the lad playing at his potential for us would be criminal. Any attacking midfielder with a left foot that is better than N'Zogbia, as offensively they'd be given just as much time and space on the ball as Zog got and use it even better, while defensively they'd be equally liable. no

Redknapp will probably field a 4-5-1, interesting if our 3-man midfield will cope..

good thing we're playing at home first eh..

oh, man.. someday i'll rush down the pitch and make out passionately with him in front of the whole ground

But i dont see the raw attributes to see him flourish, thats my issue. A few years ago, he hd age and inexperience on his side, and even though he's still young he hast really developed anything prticulary good about his defending. When i look at him as a defender, i dont see great anticipation, i dont see great strength, i dont see great positional sense he has a decent bit of pace but by no means is he lighniting. These are all attibutes that are vital as a defender, i still have hope that he could come good, id like to see him play the Terry role, because idont think he;s iuntelligent to play the Ferdinand role. He's made a lot of mistakes in his career, just like Roz have and Cacapa has and Bramble and Boum did, but none of themgot the preferential treatment that Taylors gets. Like i say, i hope he'll come good, but i dont think he will, if we conceded less as a team, it will be more down our team playing more attacking then idown to our centre halves over performing. Just like it was when we last break the top 4. For me, Taylor is no better tha A O'Brien. It depends what you mean by "raw attributes". Do you mean a footballing defender ? I don't look for that specifically, I look for someone with strength and the determination to hold a defence together and will stand up when the chips are down. If he's a "footballer" - like Roy McFarland - then so much the better, but players of quality like that are very rare. He's not a Roy McFarland or even a Rio Ferdinand, he;s more of a Vidic type, a Carragher type, a Colin Hendry type. Thats what he is. He needs to play alongside better players now though, either with us or someone else if something goes wrong. To say he is no better than Andy O'Brien is a joke mate, sorry, but it is. A Vidic type? mackems.gif And you never saw Roy McFarland play did you Matthew ? Or you would understand the point a bit more, as people like you clearly think Taylor should be a Franz Beckenbaur or a Bobby Moore mackems.gif When you've seen your 200th NUFC game in about 15 years time when you are 42 you just might understand something I don't think he should be Franz Beckenbaur or Bobby Moore at all, I'd settle for a competent defender that would walk into the starting 11 of a few teams in the top 10, something that Taylor isn't good enough to do, typical of Taylor's fanboys to go over the top in trying to defend his s**** performances though. What attributes do you think he has that make him good enough to be a future England captain btw? He's certainly not the strong type like you suggest, he's soft as s**** for a bloke of his size. i wouldn't say that he's soft.. i actually think that his physique is one of his few advantages over Cacapa, who is miles ahead in terms of tackling..

Taylor, just because he plays for us..

just how fucking stupid do you have to be to become a nazi in a country like Poland.. some bald fucks hiding behind the nationalism thing, while 60 years ago half the Polish population was buried in Auschwitz and Siberia because of the same ideology.. and there's fucking loads of them.. the fuck are they thinking..

Edgar made some very unusual clearances the other day.. it's not like they were bad.. i just wonder if he did it on purpose.. like this one time when the ball was flying above him he sticks a leg without looking and it ends up a perfect overhead volley pass straight into Habib who's in acres of space.. as for Taylor, i don't like him at all, but he's physical enough to oppose adequately on most strikers and certainly is the best available option to partner Faye.. he also seems a tad more dangerous in the opposition box than Cacapa or Edgar.. it's just that he seems a little thick for my liking, but you can't have it all i guess..
