yeah, Nolan was good yesterday.. one of the few games he was truly box-to-box.. Several important tackles at the back, good work rate throughout the match, the disgraceful penalty decision and of course his leadership.. Long may it continue. I hope that Nolan and Barton's solid performances are indeed due to the freedom created by THE CHEICK's AMAZING SKILLZ.. If that's the case, we're in for a good season..

The Villa one was unlucky, him & their player went to head the ball & their guy fell over & Perch got booked, was right infront of me well, yeah.. and the Man U one was a bit harsh iirc.. but he has pretty much deserved at least a yellow in each game he's played for us (including the couple of friendlies I've seen). Still, I think he offers us more defensively than Simpson, whose constant backing-off the opposition winger won't get us far in the Premier League.. and like I said, Ryan Taylor can't tackle or god forbid, man mark players, playing him in defence would be suicidal against any kind of decent oppo.. I'm not his biggest fan but we'll be much more solid with Stevie Taylor at RB, hopefully the contract situation will be resolved..

Imo, Perch has looked ok so far.. He has deserved his cards and probably could've had a couple more but overall, he seems like a better tackler than Simpson.. Ryan Taylor shouldn't be anywhere near the RB place, he's hopeless defensively.. I have faith that Perch will turn to be a useful player, I just think he's a bit unlucky to be thrown at the deep end from the start..

and when it's not disappointing it's fantastic!

Is Bonnart still without a club? Yeah, he's still available. It seemed weird to me that OM released him and weird that he is still available as he's been linked with a number of clubs in England and France. The latest news was that he should be signing with Monaco within the week, but he's still officially a free agent. Don't know what Marseille are playing at.. They've basically dismantled their whole title-winning side this summer.. Bonnart played almost every game the last couple of seasons.. they also sold Bocally, who was decent enough and their only option at RB is the boy they bought from Osasuna - Azpilisuetta or something, who doesn't look very convincing so far.. Add to that the sales of Ben Arfa, Kone and Niang.. Baffling decision making..
