  1. Its funny how Wearside and co never seem to turn up to comment on some of the statements such as the one above from RTG.
  2. Well, my point was, I gave numerous reasons as to why I was happy Brum won the cup. It was argued that people would prefer the Gooners to win it as it could benefit NUFC. When in reality, the chances are we wont finish 7th squad depth etc. Now, if it turns out we do finish 7th, fair enough, ill be gutted. But until that point, for the reasons already given , im delighted Brum beat them. Thats all I was getting at.
  3. I dont get this post? Would you prefer Arsenal beat them? eh...yes. Considering our position right now I'd rather have seen Arsenal beat them as it would have given us a better chance to reaching Europe which by the way we are playing isn't impossible but knowing that it's Newcastle its actually a tad ridiculous to hope European football. f*** that. Birmingham winning was a good day for football. Everyone always bleats on about how only the big clubs win trophies and the fact the media would have jizzed all over if they had of won. Also, having to hear the f***ing cockneys moan on about not winng a trophy for 6 whole years - f***, my heart bleeds. It gives other teams, like ourselves, that trophies can be won. It wasnt impossible that we could finish 7th, but i would be good money we wont. Birmingham beating Arsenal was f***ing magnificant. f*** that. Anything that has the realistic potential to benefit NUFC > Anything that benefits any other club. So, do you think we will finish 7th? f***ing hell man. We have more of a chance of finishing 7th than we do of finishing 6th. I know we have a chance, I was just asking a simply question without being arsey, do you think we will finish 7th? It's not impossible, if you honestly just want my opinion I agree, its not impossible, but hopway man, yes or no, do you think we will finish 7th?

Fuck that. Birmingham winning was a good day for football. Everyone always bleats on about how only the big clubs win trophies and the fact the media would have jizzed all over if they had of won. Also, having to hear the fucking cockneys moan on about not winng a trophy for 6 whole years - fuck, my heart bleeds. It gives other teams, like ourselves, that trophies can be won. It wasnt impossible that we could finish 7th, but i would be good money we wont. Birmingham beating Arsenal was fucking magnificant.

  8. 3 Points - 1. Ashley was the one that bought the club, he sshould have new about any debt before he bought it. 2. He appointed KK, you cant appoint someone like him then complain if he asks for money. 3 Where is this nonsense about him wanting overpaid superstars coming from?
  9. Not sure where people are getting this 'not his best game' from. He covered every balde of grass and broke up every attack they put together. So he give tghe ball away a couple of times... when he is alongside Nolan he is doing the job of two men, this will happen. Was top class today, we need this bloke so badly.
  10. RT needs to have a word, silly mistake that cost us 3 points. Everyone worked their bollocks off. Jose quality going forward, although was caused problems at the back. Colo top class. Best worked his ass off. Tiote dominates the middle. Shouldnt have took Jonas off. Not much more too say. Happy with a point. Need to be Everton.
  11. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=572430&page=12 Fucking fantasic stuff, people worrying about Quinns health because of his recent comments, and some guy claiming attendances may be down simply because people have died since 2004!!! You couldnt make this shit up.
  12. Exactly!! This is the problem. They know that people will pay it thats why they can charge it.
  13. I think it fairly obvious that if we want to improve then he cant be part of the first team in a couple of years time. However, at the moment, his leadership is needed, there have been games where he hasnt played and we have looked a different team. And on a sidenote, (Liverpool quotes aside) ive always enjoyed listening to him talk. He loves the club and as mentioned, he will always be a bit of a hero for that hat trick.

    Leon Best

Oh aye. The signing enabled Carroll to become the striker he is, and he's been invaluable since the turn of 2011. Can't believe it's worked out cos the Leon Best i saw for us 12 months ago was f***ing woeful. A Coloccini esq turnaround. Saying that though I do remember possibly myself and definitely Stu saying the Plymouth game showed real potential. Don't mean to bring it up, but seeing as it's been mentioned, yeah I think he's been a decent little cheap as chips investment, providing options for our other players last season (inc. off the pitch) which kept up our momentum, while still not being fully developed himself. I remember him showing a fair bit shy of a goal too, he wasn't abject. A good move by Hughton worth pointing out more than normal, seeing as the £1m spent on him is supposedly one of his biggest crimes according to Ashley and Llambias. Just a shame that injury kept him out of the squad for months at the start of this season and stopped him being able to change that perception. Pleased for him. You what? Where's that come from? one of the reasons they turned on CH allegedly.
  15. The team spirit is too strong for us to go down. 8 points clear, teams like Everton, Wolves, Birmingham and Blackpool still to play. We will be fine, then can hopefully, look to rebuild in the summer.
  16. Interesting to see how long we can keep this little run going. Confidence must be sky fucking high. Fancy a win but you never know with us. 2-0.
  17. Does he get talked about much over there?
  18. 50-55? You think we will win another 5 games?? Fuck a duck. If we win 3 i will be pleased and think we will stay up.
  19. We needed one badly, but really, who was out there to buy without paying daft prices? Keane would have done a job, but dont WH have to buy him if they stay up? Cant really think of anyone we could have brough in tbh.
