All this "refusing to submit transfer requests" bollocks needs clamping down on. Contracts going forward need things in that say - Refusing to train - Refusing to travel - Refusing to play etc will invalidate any loyalty payments due if a transfer happens within current/next transfer window

I think we're pretty watertight, but there's very often leaks from the other sides. Plus a lot of people on here seem to think that rumours that don't come true mean the rumours were lies. I suspect a lot of what we hear is true, but just clearly not every transfer comes off.

Yeah I mean Lampard basically made a career out of being this kind of midfielder, not suggesting there's anything inherently wrong with it. That said I think our system just stops our midfielders scoring that many. If you get Tonali and Bruno around or in the box, they're both more than capable of scoring. Normally though our system sits them deeper and lets the front 3 let rip with sheer pace.
