    Transfer rumours

One in one out might not be particularly sensible given the likelihood that some of our deadwood will be hard to shift.
  2. He's just a troll that's moved onto the next topic that will wind people up now that there's nothing left on the bone regarding "will there /won't there be a takeover".
  3. There's also a (hopefully extremely minor) possibility that things might not work out as well as we might hope and for they reason you really should just enjoy how it feels right now. The hope is literally infinite at this point in time.
  4. 23 when he took over. Pottered around for several years doing bugger all before eventually meeting someone that would put up with me and now we have a house, dog (pending second) and I'm hunting for a ring. Its not been all bad outside of supporting my team I suppose.
  5. I think, that somewhere over the last 14 years, my brother (54) inappropriately advanced on my old man. That's it.
  6. When someone articulates your thoughts and you therefore needn't make any effort... GG Poot.
  7. Pow, right in the kisser.
  8. If you're looking for a reasoned, "grown up" discussion on what you, and likely several others will feel is an important topic of discussion, might I suggest hat you pick a better time than just shy of midnight on the day that the worst owner in our living memory just exited the club?
  9. Obviously lots to do, but the the key signs of intent will be more than good enough a start for me - sack the manager, remove every trace of SD from the stadium and give it a clean.
  10. Upgrading the non alcoholic beer I intended to drink for a nice ale for a start.

    N-O Celebration

Have one for everyone on the forum that's not there with you
  12. How do I compute sporting excitement again, I can't remember?
  13. I'm still fighting with my emotions, refusing to be all in until there's an announcement and even then I feel like it's just going to be so surreal
  14. I still can't bring myself to get excited whilst this isn't official, although I can't deny that seeing all the cynical/long term posters being so optimistic is making it difficult to remain calm
  15. That does take some effort to not win that game. Watford were as bad an opposition as I've seen for a long time.
  16. Joelinton needs to hit that first time. No belief in himself.
  17. A couple of Watford players seem desperate for reds today.
  18. Manquillo did very well there, twice.
  19. Sarr (and the Watford fans) desperate to get Ritchie sent off.
  20. We'll inevitably end up drawing, with Bruce comforted in the knowledge that we're mid table in the "nearly league".
  21. I fully expect Watford to improve significantly second half as the manager's influence becomes more key - that said it's hardly possible for them to be worse. I have no knowledge of their manager other than that he's not Bruce and therefore likely better.
  22. That was utterly fucking awful from Watford
  23. I think the last time I full-on celebrated a goal for us was when Rondon scored against Liverpool, however I feel like it was more in support of him personally than the club. At the expense of using a PFM phrase, he's a proper striker and enjoyable to watch.
  24. So that makes two entities at Everton that I look upon with genuine fondness vs the one at Newcastle (ASM). I will never stop supporting Newcastle but I'm so passive whilst we are the way we are that I'm genuinely tempted to get my fill this year by watching Everton. I love football but Newcastle actively makes me not want to watch any of it whatsoever and it's been so many years that I legitimately feel like I'm falling out of touch.
