Willock has seen an awful lot of the ball and has been very wasteful with it. It's becoming a bit of a common theme of late. Salisu man marking Almiron is some level of acknowledgement that he's currently our only dependable attacking threat.

Miggy's form has dropped off? Can't say I agree with that, he's still contributing to play heavily and is playing with a lot of quality. Even without the goals he's still one of our top performers right now. We really could do with a couple of creatively minded signings, though.

We should definitely be looking to keep him. It's not only his end product that's improved this season, practically everything he does is of a significantly higher quality now to the point that he's one of our best and most important players right now. He's playing with a lot of quality even when he's not directly creating/scoring.

I largely think the term world class is a load of subjective nonesence tbh, however Tripper is certainly accomplished and successful enough to be considered world class, IMO.

The only reason the penalty taker stutters their run etc. is to confuse the keeper and give themselves an even greater advantage. If you're going to penalise a keeper when the odds are already massively stacked against them, then I'd suggest you need to look at penalty etiquette as a whole.

I really thought West Ham would eventually switch it on a bit and turn out to be one of our closer rivals this season, but they aren't showing signs of doing anything significant and already have an awful lot of points to catch-up on.

I'm not so sure it's so cut and dry but I agree that having better quality players near him will likely result in improved output. That said; one of Almiron's key strengths is his ability to give and go, quickly running into space. Trippier and Bruno work to his strengths and their quality is key, but Almiron's intelligence in his movement is just as vital. It's always been one of his strengths, and he actually did try and do previously under Bruce, but a lack of anything resembling a game-plan meant it largely went unnoticed and unused. We now have a manager that can actually exploit players strengths and we're seeing a huge benefit from it.

I don't think there's any lack of effort; I'm just not sure our style of play comes natural to him.

I'm sure the level of pressure for both scenario's was comparable.
