Exactly, I don't agree that suicide is easily preventable but that's not the offensive bit. I think the selfishness is the main issue.

That's been independently verified by 50,000 fans. -
The fact that Richards isn't starting at RB for England is insane.

What's he right about?

To an extent, I agree. His talent is being wasted on the bench, can't actually remember the last time he had an extended run in the City side..... To be fair to him, when he signed for City I think most people thought he would play a lot, including him I imagine. He should leave now like. Benefit of the doubt. Signing a new contract recently is ridiculous though. True, I didn't know he had done that.

So so lazy as well. When has anyone called Pardew the new messiah? What a load of bollocks. -
The first four or five are terrible mind, the Hansen and Shearer are nothing like them. Fair play though, even the amount of accents is very impressive. Bruce is class though, I enjoyed Jol too. Mourinho sounds Russian, but he actually does in real life when I think about it!

I have no problem at all believing that depression can be completely hidden, that's what makes it such an insidious condition. Do you really have a genuine take on how the people around you are feeling on the deepest level? I mean beyond whether they're generally happy or sad? I know I don't, not if I'm honest.
-
Good read that. Yeah, I agree it's not nice to see charities and others using his unexplained death to promote themselves (even though they are promoting a good cause) but at the same time I don't see that it's disrespectful for ordinary people to discuss depression as one of the possibilities.

I'm sure the crowd will be showing their love for the man vocally enough anyway.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would compare our squad to Chelsea, Man city, Man Utd or Spurs, or claim it would be good enough to cope with European as well as domestic competition. It's probably as good as any other team's squad who are not currently playing in Europe. James Perch is our third-choice CB at the moment, but that's because we already have two CBs injured (Kadar and Williamson). You could argue it would be very unlucky to have 3 or 4 CBs injured at the same time, and that we could never have a squad good enough to handle that unless we were regularly in the top 4/5.

Think that's the best summary, he knew he could probably get away with that type of kicking because the ball was there.

Nobody has said they know what the reasons behind this are, and nobody has dismissed the views of his family. As if anyone would do that. People are just discussing the issue of depression, following on from it being raised as a possible reason. Don't see the point in criticising anyone for that.
-
I felt the same when I first saw it. TBH Rooney probably was trying to hurt Colo, but he was cleverly using a situation where he was allowed to kick him repeatedly like that because the ball happened to be nearby.
-
It's a real shame Ferguson and his players are always such despicable cunts. He's achieved so much in the game and is obviously pretty much a genius, but his behaviour in public just means you can't respect him.
-
I think people are just talking through the possibility Wullie, you're right that nobody actually knows the truth. Sure nobody means to be disrespectful.

I had a Liverpool Annual when I was about 6. Not sure I ever really supported them, I didn't get properly into football until I was a teenager. -
That goal on the turn against Blackburn was pretty powerful.
-
Aye, but Henry also started the socks over the knees debacle.

Still can't quite digest this in a weird way, it just makes no sense at all. Every time I see his photo on a paper or website it's a reminder it actually happened, feels very strange.

I don't want Sunderland to get relegated, I enjoy being in the same division as them. Never been to a derby either, so I need that to happen this season or next.
-
Maybe just abolish suspensions for bookings completely. Let it affect the players performance in the original game, then forget about it. Extreme I admit.
