  1. Choked me up that, great work guys.
  2. Think he did quite well today, problem is when he has time and space to hurt the opposition he doesn't really have the pace or cutting edge to exploit it.
  3. Yep, sometimes it's just not your day. The team we had out at the end wouldn't beat Blyth, never mind Chelsea. It was a weird game, we had a lot of attacks but we fucked up quite a few with silly errors. Also the non red card, all the woodwork strikes. A bit frustratin to watch because if we'd been a bit more clinical we could have taken some points. And if we hadn't lost Colo and Taylor I suppose.

I can see why Pards wanted to go with two strikers, Chelsea couldn't handle one. HBA was hit and miss, he nearly created a goal when we hit the post though. Let's not forget his return to the team has been in three of the toughest games in the season.
  5. He was bad today, and I'm a fan. I think he just thought he couldn't beat Cole for pace, which might be true TBH.
  6. I've got wor Tim, he was class at the beginning of the season but not so many clean sheets recently. Hopefully back to his old ways after these three fixtures.
  7. Not joking but I think wor Michael would do a better job. I've seen so many messiahtastic appointments down there, Keane, Bruce himself and of course Macemeneny - how they rejoiced and partied when he was appointed. I'm surprised the yank hasn't had the balls to make a bolder, different type of appointment, O'Neil is yesterday's man - his time at Villa proved that his bolt is well and truly shot. Very few chairmen are brave when it comes to appointing managers in the PL, always confuses me why. It's like there are only 7 or 8 people in the world who can manage in the Prem.
  8. Proposal denied. I was going to post this exact thing.

He's taking the piss now. If there's a team I would have a season ticket for if I fancied a weekly nap by the Thames, it would be Fulham. If I wanted to watch football it would be the last season ticket I would buy, really weird place to watch a game.
  10. Assuming he is fit as he has had ressie games i would rather him start at LW than Sammy tbh Really? He doesn't have much pace. I thought Sammy did OK against Man City?
  11. Fair play, Pards can sort out anything. Send him to Syria.
  12. Makes more sense to leave Taylor because: 1.He'll be playing in the same back four we've had all season 2.Santon is better going forward. Would have to agree. If Best's fit I still think there's a possibility we will see HBA played wide, just in this case as we have so few options.
  13. Yep, main problem with the league I play in (Telegraph) is that keepers don't get any points for saves. So therefore it's only worth having a handful of goalies.
  14. He never actually said anything at that time, it all came through the manager. Pretty much the opposite of Barton, yet getting the same treatment. Strange. Don't see much reason to dislike Jose really, at the time he left he was getting too good for a bottom-half club and his contract was running down. As it happens we've gone on to do well and he could have hung around, but at the time it was inevitable he would leave.
  15. I don't really understand the difference between "he's got a nagging injury so won't be fit for Chelsea" and "we don't know when he'll be back". Either way he misses the game. People need to chillax.
  16. I think you're mixing up "it's possible we might sell if a massive bid comes in" with "he's definitely gone".
  17. Absolutely no effort was put into that at all Frank Lampard?
  18. The issue of the large squad of bad players he assembled has got to be a big worry. Presumably they are on decent contracts and the new manager won't be able to move them on easily.
  19. All I want is winnable games, we seem to have been royally fucked over by the balls in the last few years.
