    Anthony Gordon

Yeah, didn't even think the James' sending was a foul let alone another card. Still, James did play himself into that position.
  2. Almiron is a better player on the left. More composed, better vision and passing.

    Joelinton

Don't think he's that good in midfield when the game is tight, fast and technical. Once it stretches out a bit and slows down he looks like Brazilian international.
  4. was it @leffe186 who said Enzo Fernandez was comfortably the better player?

    Tino Livramento

    Our best defensive fullback.
  6. We’re all football fans tbh. They’ll be plenty of good Evertonians. There is plenty of utter knobheads who support NUFC. We’re all much of a muchness when it comes down to it. Never judge an entire fan base from afar.
  7. Everton fans must be sick. Imagine blowing that much money for nothing. It’s one thing to have spent it, copped the penalty but at least look back on some glory years, cup runs, etc. But to have spent that much, now get nailed for it and the absolute shite they’ve had to watch for god knows how long. That must be really galling.

  9. His run up the middle and then little through ball to Gordon was f**king lush like. Whole thing was inch perfect. Starting to think he's wasted on the right.
  10. First of all, let’s not talk down about Konsa. He’s a good CB. His mishap against us is probably still too fresh in the mind but that kind of thing can happen to anyone. Villa are very much on the up. They wouldn’t sell a key player to a direct rival unless the fee was utterly exorbitant.

    Sven Botman

    Should elevate it really…..

Aye….he’s gone from absolute lightning to merely f**king quick.
  13. Think Dalot is a good footballer tbf. Obvs a more attacking FB than defensive. Think to what happens when either of our flanks get overloaded or runners start moving into space to create trouble, a midfielder or a WF drop back to help out. We protect our players when they come under pressure. Antony did the square root of F.A. to help Dalot out. Same with the midfield pair largely and he also didn’t get much support from his CB. On top of that he was clearly tasked with trying to be a key attacking outlet. Just got left out to dry by his teammates for most of the match.

    Joelinton

He like an octopus. Just stretching out limbs and the ball sticks to it. Did honestly look like he was playing against an U21s team at times.

    Lewis Hall

Can’t unsee him in a WW1 uniform now…..with a roll up hanging off his bottom lip.
  16. Think it was @Wullie who pointed out once that sometimes a manger just suits a club at a certain time. Think the example was Brendan Rodgers. I know he gets flack but he’s had some good teams and his Swansea weren’t bad at all considering the budget. His previous spell was a bit of a car crash at Reading. He obviously went on to some very very good teams after Swansea. EH did exceptionally well at Bournemouth but not so much at Burnley. It would be hard to predict how well he end up doing here. As much as it might him……it could also be the present incarnation of the club. The owners and the new ethos, the fan’s enthusiasm post takeover. Could just be a great match. Long may it continue.

    Joe Willock

He’s so much better at knee sliding now. Like chalk and cheese.

Think at RB. Trippier as Registra.
  19. Dortmund were really bad down the wings and against transition vs Frankfurt. Comical at times.

    Jamaal Lascelles

He’s decent but not as good as Botman or Schar. When Sven is back we’ll look a bit more assured.
  21. Haven't seen anything of them this season but last season they were pretty vulnerable in transition. And that was with Bellingham. From what I've read Haller is having an off year and Can is shaky. Tbf, Can is a talented player and a good athlete but he cannot concentrate for the full 90 mins. Guerreiro left which means they're probably not as soft on their left flank as before. He was a good footballer but rarely bothered his arse to defend. I think we'll beat them. Intensity will overwhelm them. They're kind of hardwired to try and play it about even when it's going wrong for them. I've read Reyna is back and playing well. He looked an excellent prospect before it started to unravel a bit. Lots of injuries and a bit of controversy with behaviour/attitude.
