http://www.nufc.co.uk/articles/20131216/ticket-alert-cardiff-cup-tie-on-sale_2281670_3579793 Reading that, as a season ticket holder I should be able to buy "alternative and extra seats" from today. I've logged on and tried to buy tickets but no area of the ground can be selected. The next line says "Tickets will then be available for online general sale from tickets.nufc.co.uk on Friday, 20th December". Does that mean I can't buy tickets on-line until Friday? If so, why not?

I wasn't repeating it as new news. Some people may not have been aware that we had been in for Lukaku in the Summer. Well done you for your reply though. Badly worded, then. And that's something coming from me. Other people had been discussing the loan system and how West Brom and now Everton benefit from loaning Lukaku. I was just pointing out that NUFC had discussed loaning Lukaku therefore we could have had both Lukaku and Remy on loan here. Good on paper but not so good when both of your best strikers are on loan.

Apparently we were in for Lukaku in the Summer but because we were trying to get Gomis we missed out. Imagine us having Remy and Lukaku up front. I think the only reason we loaned Remy and didn't buy him is because of the charge hanging over him. If he didn't have that we would have tried to buy him outright. As for loaning Zaha, it doesn't make sense. Will he get ahead of Sissoko and Gouffran who currently are doing well on our wings? We've got Ben Arfa, Obertan, Sammy Ameobi, Gutierrez and Marveaux who can play on the wings. We'd have to sell/loan out one or two of them before bringing in Zaha and he still wouldn't be a guaranteed starter. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/newcastle-transfer-deal-thats-dead-water-wilfried-zaha-manchester-united/

"Robbie Savage: Aston Villa toil with Christian Benteke off the boil?" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25393367 Christian Benteke going the same way as Papiss Cissé and Nikica Jelavic?
-
This is really helping our goal difference to Tottenham.
-
I wonder if Aston Villa wish they'd sold Benteke? He's having a bit of a Papiss Cissé type season so far.

Pardew can't be blamed for our players not taking their chances. From my seat in the Gallowgate we could have been 3 or 4 nil up in the first half.
-
With the chances we created we should have won. Our players need to learn to convert more of their chances. Remy has gone off the boil. Has Cisse got an identical twin brother? I don't know what has happened to Cisse. Southampton seemed to be a very dirty side. They consistently fouled our players. Any time we won the ball near the half way line they fouled us.

Why was Clive Tyldesley so amazed about it snowing in Turkey in December?

I enjoyed Shola holding the ball up in the corner at the end of the game. He won a few corners and throws one after another. You wouldn't think it would be that difficult but it is amazing how often we seem to struggle to keep the ball in the corner when running the clock down.
