  1. that's an impressively huge and unreadable thread glad i got so much stick
  2. wonder how many top 3's enrique would make given the abuse he's had on this forum and indeed from his manager?
  3. I've said that a few times. A little hint: people don't always mean what they say. What would you get out of finding it anyway? huh dude? what did they mean then when the argued with me line by line that we would beat spurs? i stand by what i write, even when i'm pissed and writing shite...surely everyone should do that or retract? (as i do when i'm sober) Sometimes people post things with their tongue in their cheek. i'm assuming you're one of the people i'm recalling? however there was no tongue in cheek in this...is there a tutorial about how to properly search old threads 'cause i think people who argued in january that we'd do spurs and stay up easily deserve outing personally

  5. Yeah alot of people think Spurs away coming up is an automatic 3 points. insanity
  6. Nope. Except it's shit fastest contradiction in NO online history?
  7. wish i could find the threads a month or two back with heaps of confident as fuck people claiming "we always beat spurs" etc.... they anywhere to be found?
  8. for me it's all down to early goals in our home games now against the weaker teams...score early vs pompey, fulham & 'boro and we'll beat them, the longer those games stay evens we're fucked stating the obvious but for a team as shambolic as us confidence is everything also i think it'll all end up coming down to individuals producing something from nothing, maybe martins or jonas, a taylor free kick that kind of thing...well constructed passing moves look like being a thing of the past to me
  9. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/article5956136.ece thought this passage summed things up quite well: "The accumulated failings of Mike Ashley’s ownership have further corroded the rotten foundations he inherited from a discredited regime and, as always, it is only the heavy-hearted hordes in replica shirts who prop up Newcastle."
  10. couldn't agree with the OP more....will always maintain keegan could and should have stayed for the good of the club but what happened after that is 100% down to fat ash thing is, looking back at keegan leaving i find myself almost turning 180 on that opinion as him staying another season would simply have been postponing the inevitable in all likelihood...as good as KK was doing and as good as he is as a manager selling players and replacing them with inferior models would have caught up to him eventually too
  11. True, just ignore the rule about players having to take wage cuts for relegation, its the News of the fucking world, their record with football stories is not blemished at all, every story they write goes through stringent checks to make sure it is true factual, and in no way made up bullshit to sell papers on a Sunday. aye? there's rules about that from the FA or PL, i'm amazed but good shit if true lets be honest though, the ineptitude of the previous regime knew no bounds in contract awards did it? which is what i was referring to
  12. amazing someone out there still thinks "getting behind the lads" is going to have any kind of effect on this group of players or the management team will it f*** I didn't say it will have any effect, but what else can we actually do.Do you honestly think ploughing money into a banner will do anything? I don't care about anything else anymore, I'm going to do what I've done since I started supporting this club, I'm going to give them my support, I don't know what if any effect it will have but I also don't care. fair enough, i was taking your post in relation to the OP which was what would make a difference, i.e. somehow getting the message through to ashley that a new manager until the end of the season might actually save us but the status quo will not for my two penneth i think he's wrote it off, simply is no other explanation
  13. "Newcastle are facing financial meltdown if they are relegated as they have made no provision for playing in the Championship in players' contracts." believe this 100% tbh
  14. amazing someone out there still thinks "getting behind the lads" is going to have any kind of effect on this group of players or the management team will it fuck
  15. will be here when he's still a corpse same difference really
  16. But you need to have a good brain, good distribution and have very good decision making abilities. All of which he doesn't have. Plus I don't think he'd have the discipline for such a role. any chance playing under a good manager above the age of 19 might have had an effect on the lad? vs playing under fucking managerial car crashes and with players who should be scraping barnacles of the end of my cock? none? fair enough Of course it has, and only negative. But then again look at Bassong. who has had a season in the flight playing on instinct...3 years of our training he'll be steven talyors stunt coordinator exaggeration of course I think his ability might have something to do with that mind. agree however anyone who thinks the world cup u17 winning captain who was played under a number of shite managers couldn't have been more than he is then i say fair play them
  17. bad lightin tbh, he wuz aiming for blick
  18. you heard him on the radio? hes shitting himself and generally making a right tit of himself http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7950507.stm cringe-tastic at what stage of the insanity process do you realise you're insane? i'm guessing it's not long after you're sitting ridiculing another teams manager in march 2009 as a newcastle supporter What? read I'm laughing at that interview and how hes interacting with the presenters. What, do you think I'm not laughing at Newcastle's situation too? it's like laughing at a dude standing in a turd while the acid is burning through your shoe excellent observation, when would you like your gold star? nope, it's covered in JFK's shit...thanks though i'd prefer a ridicule of phil gold...any chance?
