I dunno how many of you have followed Park's career but his game has definitely changed since he joined Man U. Yes, he has lost his pace somewhat but his runs off the ball are very intelligent, links well with the Man U players and most importantly he does not lose the ball easily. At the start of his Man U career, this was his biggest fault. A weakness that is much more serious than crap finishing. If you can't keep the ball, no one passes to you (from my experience anyway...). I remember he used to get outmuscled off the ball easily and give the ball away very cheaply. Now, you watch him play, and he will not lose possession and he uses his body very well. I reckon he has adapted to the speed and physicality of the English game and he would walk into any other team (PROVIDED he is given at least a couple of months to settle in and he knows he has his manager's confidence). He's been unlucky with his finishing, but yeah, I wouldn't put him up front. Scores his fair share for korea tho. Conclusion: He can play anywhere in midfield - works his socks off but effectively unlike a certain Mr Smith and a certain Mr Butt

Saw his interview on youtube and he speaks very well. Better than Rafa anyway. If he brings a good passing game and has some new ideas, worth a shot. From the interview (it was wher Swansea beat Doncaster 4-nil or something) one thing I picked up is how close and united the team seem to be. I read that as meaning he is very good in the dressing room. As most people say, can't really see it happening if he is only starting to play well with Swansea and they may make the premiership. If not, then maybe we have a chance...hopefully! In any case - I like. Ver~ry nice chinkyue

Still, put him around a good coaching staff and players and he has potential. I really can't put a finger on a player in the A-League at this stage who I think would set the Premier League alight. Scott Jamieson of Adelaide United might be worth a look. He plays left back and has been easily the best left back in the league and in the Asian Champions League. He's still only 20, was a decent prospect with Bolton Wanderers and has a lot of guts and fight about him....he's pretty small though so I don't know if he would ok physically for the Premier League. If we need height there's always our other Adelaide boy Robbie Cornthwaite.
