He was superb yesterday, really played his bit in helping us keep the clean sheet and three points, always worries me though when he's playing from the back

I don't worry much about him and having both him and Gordan as LW options is excellent. I'm still surprised we bought him in though and not considered to fix the clear weakness we have at RW first. nothing suggests to me that we are planning to do this in this window so far.

He looks exactly like the RW we've been crying out for and yet we have to suffer another season with Almiron and Murphy

Didn't look overly bothered today, wasn't doing any pressing and not moving much to get the ball but still got out with an assist.

I was really buzzing prior to the start of the game but that ended up by fucking nerve-wrecking, at some points it looked like we never had a pre-season and this was our first friendly, hopefully we can be more sharp in the next game.

It was a tough game for him but it should be a good learning experience, it was good that their manager took off the japaneese wing back because he was giving him a hard time, he did save our day with that goal line clearance. I have a feeling he could be starting for England soon, just needs to do less stupid shit like trying a back heel near our box when we are 10 men down and under pressure

Season starting next week and we are going with pretty much the same team as year and no real improvements is not at all good planning if i am being honest.

I can see why we bought him and he offers a nice combination of speed and strength, hopefully he can develop to a proper striker with us.
