It was starting to feel like today wasn't going to be his day but he ended up as man of the match, what a fantastic striker for the first goal.

Edinburgh and the Highlands are incredible, we did it twice and definitely worth going to Isle of Skye as well.

As good as he is, it shows whenever we reach Europe that he doesn't have enough experience dealing with a lot of matches in a row. The first season we went back to the Champions League we lost the plot when the games started coming fast and there are signs of this already this season, i don't think we've done as bad and sometimes we have to remind ourselves that poor league form aside, we are still fighting in all fronts but he needs to up his game during the international break and work out how he'll navigate the extremely busy period coming up.

He's a decent back up but with Tino's injury he's playing way more than he should and it's starting to show. looked awful today.

I think he's a different type of player and is more used to control games than to attack it. That being said, i don't understand him not playing on Weekday and playing a - by his own admission- half fit Bruno and doing the same today. Miley looked good at his appearances and he needs to start playing more often.

He looked a bit shattered last few games, it's his first time playing this many back to back games in two years. I think we need to rotate more smartly now that hall is back between him and Burn.

I must say i have not seeing a single thing that he adds that Joe Willock doesn't, looks even less of an athlete compared to Joe and just as injury prone. He needs to do better after the international break.

It worked at times and did not work at times, but now with Hall back there is zero reason to keep doing it.

We need to learn that he dosn't need to play every game.

Looked awful last few games, he takes too long with the ball, dosn't win headers to link up play and isn't fast enough to get behind the defence. Need Wissa back for him to actually start working on his game with less pressure.

They look good but we are much better, the derby will be intresting.

Seeing how much love their official account is posting about us this made me chuckle.

Yesterday showed some value in having him in the side, when they started pressing us high it was his runs in behind that unlocked their defense. however his overall touch still felt off.

I agree, i noticed when he drops and then our wingers go on the attack he is too far to not fast enough to get in a goal scoring position, Isak scored a lot of goals using his pace so we'll have to adapt around Nick's style of play or count in Wissa to do those runs. Another thing Nick can maybe improve or take out of his game which i already mentioned after the first half yesterday is releasing the ball faster, quite often he holds on too it to a point were he gets crowded and loses it, he's a skillful player but as a striker he needs to be an outlet for keeping the ball. I'm sure he'll improve and it does seem unfair in a way that he's been thrown straight into the team playing every single game from the off, and while he came out of it with a lot of credit he'll get better when Wissa is back and we can afford to rest him and have him understand our style more.

It will do him and us a lot of good to sit out this next international break and focus on rehab and training.

There was a moment when Botman got turned and their player was through on goal and he just casually and calmly moved in to block the shot as if it was nothing. Really enjoying his performances so far and long may that continue.

I agree with this but i'm suprised that Eddie threw him right in, and in doing so taking off one of our more productive players in Murphy. I really think that decision cost us a few points and a slow start to the season.

Weird to win 2-0 in the champions league and still feel the performance was a let down. A lot to work on still but happy with the three points.
