I’ll have mentioned this before; I played Centre Forward for a Sunday League side from Houghton Le Spring. The “manager” was the Commercial Manager for NUFC, our strips were the previous season 1st team strips and we played a couple of games at Benwell. I scored a hat trick on my debut at Benwell in Micky Quinn’s no 9 strip but the hi-light of the game was when we all stood still and watched a player on the pitch next to us effortlessly dribble past 5 or 6 players. It was Lee Clark, as said, if he’d had a turn of foot (and a little bigger) he had the potential to be really top level.

Last I heard the girlfriend he has/ had is fucking minted. I doubt this will affect him unless that’s gone tits up.

I’ve always struggled to like Tuchel; he’s just rubber stamped this. He’s picked awful squads, poor starting sides, woeful motivation and a complete lack of structure. Oh, and dull as dish water football. The players need a break but there’s no real excuse for these performances. Dismal.
