  1. Ashley asking advice from Wise and Kinnear.........I've no doubt we'd get a manager who firmly knows his place while Ashley remains in charge, any manage worth their salt would walk out of any meeting with Ashley within 30 minutes as Ashley laid out the terms the manager would have to work under. The positive is, it's a step in the right direction for ultimately getting rid of Ashley.
  2. If it is true that he wants to go surely he must be allowed to leave. Those wanting him out would be more resolved and the Pardew fans would feel he's let their support down. If he stays then Ashley is taking the piss out of his manager and the fans; not good business.
  3. I've just seen that Carver did the press conference saying he had no idea why Pards wasn't doing it. Pray For Palace.
  4. Two awful goals, Anita was school boy tracking, Colback just simply loses his man and turns a 180 to see where Rooney has gone.
  5. Did he just say this is a fixture that has always been tight.
  6. I can almost accept Gouffran starting today IF Cabella starts ahead of him at home to Everton. Wishful thinking probably as Pard's will no doubt see Gouffran as a player who can play 3 games in a week if needed.
  7. We showed too much ambition again, Pards must feel a bit like Morinho did now.
  8. Didn't see the "Pardew back from the dead lads today".
  9. He was far better than Tiote, why we need to play both is another matter.
  10. His substitutions were baffling today, we were already struggling in the middle and the thick twat decides to put a second and then a third striker on. In a stroke he made Sissoko and Perez less effective and we lost any hope of taking control. The players looked rightfully gutted at the end but we got what we deserved.
  11. Better team won, too easy again. Larrson was a right twat when they score mind, pure incitement. Absolutely gutted.

    Sunderland

I used to live on Kenton Lane, it was a lovely house on a nice estate, yes you had The Greyhound if you turned left at the bottom roundabout on Kenton Road but turn right and you in amongst some of the most expensive houses around. Daft gits.
  13. And fair play to them for that; it's the exclusion of contributions from fans of other teams and the how great are we brigade that I didn't particularly like. It became a bit of a point scoring exercise for some for which some of their own fans didn't like either. We should recognise what was created for the spirit it was intended.
  14. It was a fine gesture but without trying to sound like a twat it should be said that fans from many other teams (including many of our own) made significant contribution to that fund yet they have claimed it as their own. Indeed many of their own fans contributed simply to prove their "class" as opposed to any real gesture for the actual loss. I realise that any criticism of what was a fantastic effort can easily be viewed as petty but it does rankle with me a little. I donated to the funeral costs effort as their fund was already turning a bit self indulgent. Tmrw could be interesting.
  15. He's done his time so in that respect he deserves a chance, his problem is that he came across like a right bell end. If he believes he was innocent he's entitled not to apologise for the crime but I'm sure he could have found better words and sentiment to have used.
  16. Sunderland will play for set pieces to put pressure on Alnwick and the odd counter attack. I hope we don't defend free kicks too deep and give Alnwick as much space as possible on corners. The crowd have a big job as well in not adding to the pressure.
  17. I don't think a crossbar challenge is a good barometer of how good a footballer is It showed he couldn't kick a football.
  18. He barely reached the 18 yard line with his attempt......
