  1. Aye, throwing yellows around in the first half like they were going out of fashion.
  2. Barnsley have 12.... Forest 11 ok, fine. So if you discount: Barnsley - 12 Forest - 11 Burton - 10 and then go on to discount the following who all have the same as us: Huddersfield QPR Brighton Wigan I think you will find that we are infact top league goalscorers. Check your facts Fair enough I like the goals against column. It's been a long time since we conceded so few, ok it's the Championship but still. It's nice to see so few flying in. Aye, it feels weird to not have a feeling of shame when looking at the goal difference. To be honest I thought we had +12 goals, I read Barnsley's as ours by accident

    Daryl Murphy

Not the contract side of things, of course not. He is in charge of all football matters however, as per his contract. Benitez isn't a pushover like McClaren was, he wouldn't stand for some of the bullshit of previous years, just like Keegan didn't. EDIT - in reply to mighty__mag
  5. Bristol equalise against Villa.

    Daryl Murphy

He's a 1 in 4 striker over the course of his career thus far according to wiki.. almost exactly that in fact. My thoughts - not an exciting name, but I'd rather him than Riviere, who is total dogshit.
  7. And he was all around poor. Bar the beaut of that Klinsmann penalty save. Very good kicker of the ball though. A bit off topic here, but can anyone link me to a youtube video or something which illustrates what good distribution (not wordly goal kicks that happenes 1 out of 1 000 000 000 000 times) for a keeper is? I´ve never seen what was/is so bad about Givens, Harpers or Kruls distribution. Surely as long as the ball isn´t passed short or thrown out, the goal kick "quality" doesn´t mean s*** as outfield players from both teams will have ample time to position and contend for the ball anyway. Harper wasn't too bad with his, but he went through a stage of kicking it where he looking like he'd been kicked in the stomach each time. It was bizarre. Krul has always had bad distribution... A clue is how many go out of play or no where near our outlets. Or how many he slices and so immediately puts pressure on the side.

Gerrin, mid table at last. And like f*ck are Chelsea more hated than Man U Of course they are they have no youth policy, hoover up any player they want and leave them to rot, they have only ever won by spending vast amounts of money. There's no real culture, their fans are racists... despicable club.
  10. Cheers for the info That first goal is brilliant.

  14. After the Reading loss he said they'd stay in the premier league, no problems whatsoever. They were then relegated.
  15. Nah, he had one big injury and then just wasn't picked by Roeder as I recall. The likes of Dyer and Cort were ridiculous in terms of injuries.
