This is it for me, there's only 2 teams that truly scare me, obviously anyone can win on the day and there's some tough fixtures out there but Man City is still a dead rubber for me but most annoyingly Liverpool seem to be our kryptonite, even when we play better we seem to lose.

That cockney accent mixed with the tooth whistle on every second word makes me homicidal.

That's twice he's done that now

How is that not a yellow for simulation??

Ref trying his best to ruin a great game here, think his whistle is stuck in his throat, if not then Joe should put it there for him.

You can't make statements like this when everyone is watching on delays!

Gordon looks tired already

Great goal tbf but that was never a foul

Your own football ability - how good are/were you?
Mattoon replied to Big Geordie's topic in Football
I wasn't a big fan of football growing up and if I'm being honest with myself I doubt football would have been a big fan of me. Having said that I won a game of 3 and in against all the top players in my school in year 11, a prize I will take to my grave -
Get the mortgage on Everton most SOT, most corners, most possession and 1-0 Man Utd

You only have to look at Man u with a crumbling stadium and £1b debt like a mill wheel around their neck to know its not about protecting clubs from unscrupulous owners.

I still think the FFP system is fundamentally flawed and skewed in a way that benefits established teams, however on flip side of that it's imperative that there's a way to stop clubs overreach and bankrupting a club essentially wiping it off the map and also I think it would be unfair to allow clubs such as our to spend unfettered. There has to be a better way of policing finances without restricting competition.

Well, that was 2hrs of my life wasted, so pedestrian, happy to play keep ball for 90 minutes and no risks taken in possession, yawn.

How has VAR looked at that and not overruled?
-
I take it there's no VAR tonight then?
-
Talk of big point deductions for the likes of Chelsea and City, for me I think they should have point deductions for a set number of years rather than give them it in one go, ensures they won't be fighting at the top for some time. Liklihood is that they tangle this up in the courts for years and get away with it though.

Arsenal should absolutely be charged for this too, you can understand when a manager doesn't like losing and is emotional in the aftermath, especially with a contentious decision. But for the club to post such a statement after the fact is absurd! Also, seen a lot of "big 6" supporters sticking with Arsenal on this, even after the VAR release, mostly man u and Liverpool though tbf because they're perpetual victims apparently.

Just came in to post this, why has it taken so long?
-
And yet the Arsenal supporters and that nonce Mark Goldbridge still crying in the face of incontrovertible evidence the right call was made. There was no solid evidence to overrule the onfield decision therefore it cannot be overruled. What do they want PGMOL to start doing guess work and imparting opinion on decisions? That would last about 5 seconds before that was a "fix".
