  1. We've got enough quality and momentum to grab all 6 from the next two games, Everton will be tough to break down but hopefully we can take an early lead and try and not flog our players too much.
  2. It wasn't the real Rashford, it was contract renewal Rashford, he only ever comes round every 2-3 years. Which, incidentally he signed after the end of last season ?
  3. They aren't brain dead, they're butt hurt and denying anything good makes them feel better that they're now behind us.
  4. Were it not for wobbly legs in the final 3rd that would have been a lot more comfortable, we dominated the midfield and it was worrying for them how much space we found between the lines and how easy it was to find someone in that space with a simple pass. However, they were pretty well organised at the back, Shaw and Maguire their stand out performers tells you that, with some quality last ditch defending at times. But who wants to watch a billion pound Burnley stink up the pitch?
  5. He probably was to be fair but it's hard to not be when everything around you is poisonous, it wasn't an overnight change for him, he didn't have a great end to last season but Howe has done some number on him! He has been immense.
  6. Well that's another of the "big 6" firmly in our pocket now. I still haven't completely come to terms with how good we actually are and I keep being pleasantly surprised, long may it continue.
  7. That was a lot more nerve racking than it should have been, the players get a pass though as they must be running on fumes after 200 minutes of football this week.
  8. Tbf the temperature out there was probably like landing on concrete for Pope
  9. Miley these last few games has been unreal like, so composed, excellent movement on and off the ball, exciting times for him and us. Massively impressed with him.
  10. How in the hell have those spawny gits managed to get in that dressing room at half time at 0-0??? Absolutely steam rollered them and 4-0 wouldn't flatter anyone.
  11. I'd be disappointed with anything but a win but I refuse to be too confident or I'll be livid at full time if we don't win. We're a completely different beast at home and I reckon we've got their number now.
  12. If we hadn't have played all our best players for 98 minutes in Paris with 30 of them with our backs against the wall I'd be confident we'd wipe the floor with these at home. Given the circumstances I am worried we'll struggle to see the game out.
  13. Ten Hag already said he's playing him and basically he's got one more chance
  14. In the wake of the ridiculous final minutes of last night's game I was massively angry and felt the injustice hard. However, what's done is done and no amount of ire or complaining will change it, the result isn't a nail in our coffin and I still believe we have a huge chance to progress and the safety net of the Europa if PSG do what they haven't done yet and win away from home so long as we concentrate on us we'll still be in Europe after the next game. The whole situation is a farcical comedy, blatantly inept or corrupt, you decide. A point blank pile driver into the midriff that happens to canon onto a naturally positioned arm in no way could ever be a pen but here we are. We can feel hard done by but we can't dwell on it, it won't change anything and we can't let it affect further games.
  15. Overriding opinion on twitter is we were robbed and that was one of the worst decisions ever witnessed, even SOME Arsenal supporters agree, although they are still laughing at us. Reading all the Arsenal posts has actually cheered me up, I think it's hilarious they're still seething so bad 24 days later. Difference is once the dust has settled we'll move on and be ready for the next game, not spending the next 3 weeks trawling PSG twitter to cry about it. Great performance by some tired legs tonight, lack of a bench made it necessary to sit deep and defend like lions and we didn't disappoint. Miley and Livramento were absolutely class, showing composure we'll ahead of their years, Bruno is well and truly back with another outstanding performance and Pope was impenetrable, he was so close to that penalty too (imagine the scenes). Everyone to a man can hold their heads high after that, let take that frustration and use it positively against Man Utd.
  16. Absolutely livid with that, got into injury time and head was telling me they could go all night and not find a way through us, bunch of absolute warriors. To then go and give that extremely dubious penalty to gift them the draw enraged me, absolute sucker punch we didn't deserve.
