Except our pass accuracy is better than theirs. I don't think we've played half as bad as some are claiming but it has been too easy for them to cut through our lines. 1-0 probably a fair score for chances created but I wouldn't say Brighton have been head and shoulders above us. We've had our chances and should have done better. We're still in this, I said 1-1 before the game and I'm sticking with that prediction.

Agree with the last bit 100%, Isak is a streaky striker and if he's in his element you can't stop the flow by rotating him out but then the dippers can't afford to keep him in the side if he's not scoring.

Loving how quickly he's settled here, seems like a genuine down-to-earth bloke and much more personable than his predecessor. Howe has already squeezed a bit extra out of him, but its exciting to know there's so much more to come out of him, Howe will bring the very best out of him and figure out a way to ensure those players round him give him the best opportunity to be as prolific as he can be. He looks confident and I hope he has a real break out season.

He's 100% fit right now, he maybe just lacked that match sharpness due to missing preseason friendlies, but he's played in enough competitive games now to have gained that, I don't think preseason can be used as an excuse 2 months into a season where he's had plenty of time to train with his team mates and played half a dozen games. Maybe he's lacking some confidence and a goal or two puts him back on track? But at the moment it does look like the Liverpool setup doesn't play to his strengths, he doesn't get to play on the shoulder of the last defender, they have the lions share of the ball in all their games and he's surrounded by players who like to score themselves and not play the ball into him. I don't recall him ever playing that well when space was an issue for us against a low block other than that worldie assist against Everton a few seasons back. It's hard to know if I'm just being biased and hoping and wishing, but I just can't see it working out for him at the dippers.

Every anonymous game, every wayward pass and scuffed shot, every hands on hips sulky moment feeds my schadenfreude. The fact that Woltemessi is banging them in at the same time really is the icing on the cake. I wonder if he's looking at the situation he's in and what big Nick is doing and ruing some of his life choices right now, I'd like to think so. Yes, he's making a wedge being useless for Liverpool, but he had the world on a plate here, we all learn at some point in life that the grass isn't always greener and this is rapidly turning into his nadir.

We've had 2 big name Charlie's since the takeover and both have hampered our progress one way or another and left us knee deep. I'm all for someone competent coming in and carving a name for himself with us, someone to steady the ship and have a solid working relationship with Howe. No drama.

He's had such a massive job, not just bringing in the new players into the team but planning for life after Voldemort, Woltemade is a very different player that brings very different qualities to the team and that creates a huge shift in how we have to play, we struggled at the start of the season as we tried to work it out but now we're starting to see the green shoots of that endeavour. It cannot be understated how much damage the sulky swede did, not just to preparations and a lack of a striker for a number of games, but we bought players and made plans that became void when he left. Howe has taken it in his stride and I have the upmost trust that he will have us firing on all cylinders again soon. Simply irreplaceable.

For the last 2 seasons Bruno covered the most miles in total of any Premier league player: 23/24 263 Miles 24/25 261 Miles However, last season Tonali covered the 3rd most in the league as an average per 90 at 7.4 miles , the most covered was Kulusevski with 7.7 miles per 90.

Had to go out during the first half and had to keep up on here, had I not watch the 2nd half myself I would have thought we were playing like Blackpool under Bruce. Forest came with the intention of sitting low and spoiling the game and it almost worked for them, good teams find a way though and we did. Ref didn't help blowing that whistle like he was at a 90s rave either. Loving the fact Woltemessi is banging them in, long may it continue.

It's not a must win in the scope of a season and points etc, but I think its a must win in regards to a home match against a poor side, confidence and putting some wins together after a poor start to the season.
