  1. No, I'm saying you're trying to suggest that people think that is the case when clearly no one does, then saying other peoples' arguments are stupid & hilarious. Oh yes, its so 'hilarious', so do you think people would come on here, read through the thread, and genuinly be laughing, because its so so 'hilarous' & 'comedy gold'? You probably need to read back & see who called who hilarious. Yeah, thats twice it was used, and whats the point? And like these responses to a thread with just simply ' ' . Whoever did anyway, cant remember who, What the point? Why not just talk normally and say what you agree/disagree with without coming accross snobby by doing that and giving cheap remarks about 'scummy' people in there etc? You have to be taking the piss? For what it's worth, I haven't called anyone scummy either. Here we go, okay so I havent been talking normally have I not? When I say talk normally, I mean talking without that cocky/snobbish slant. I suppose Im still 'talking the piss ' Aye I cant remember the name of who, but whoever did, whats the point in stereotyping people like that?

  4. I'm f***ing destroyed tbh. Do you go on internet forums and enjoy trying to 'win' debates like?
  5. Well I dont understand some of the confusion? 'we'll find out the truth'... do people think Keegan is telling lie's when he said he wasnt in control? And if he was, surley the club would have flat out denied it! But they realsed statements to practically back up Keegans comments! And if you say 'ah Keegan agreed to everything in Jan', but quite clearly Wise's statement contradicts that. Its a disgraceful, shambolic way to treat a manager, and such a massive waste.
  6. In moving to clarify his role on Tyneside, Wise, 41, said: "A lot of people have got a little mixed up with the reason I'm here and we need to straighten that out quite quickly. "I'm not here to be involved in the first team. I'm not here to manage. I'm here to help Kevin as much as possible with bringing young players through and also recommending certain players to him. "He will say yes or no. He has the final word, no one else. I'm not going to do things like bring players in behind his back, I'm not into that. Everything that happens will be run past him and he'll say yes or no." Thats clear then. No interference ... "I've been working desperately hard to find a way forward with the directors, but sadly that has not proved possible," Keegan said in a statement. "It's my opinion that a manager must have the right to manage and that clubs should not impose upon any manager any player that he does not want." ... wait a minute, he is saying there that, in the end, there was interference? A Very strong accusation considering Dennis Wise's statement above, if a false accusation I'm assuming the club will be quick to deny a claim of such particular interference... ● It is a fact that he agreed not to talk to the media in relation to the acquisition or disposal of players. ● It is a fact that Kevin Keegan, as manager, had specific duties in that he was responsible for the training, coaching, selection and motivation of the team. ... I assumed wrong, they did not even deny nor respond to Kevin Keeagn's claim of interference, only stated that ^. And, in my opinion, that reply from the club is so, so telling.
  7. Remember Roeders last ever game, 0-2 loss to Blackburn at SJP, was a right mess.
  8. 0-3 Liverpool at home last season anyone?

    Kinnear Out

Yes, said after last season we need to stick with 433 when everyones fit & cant throw that discovery away, but was gutted when I read Kinnear say basically 'Ive heard Kevin played Owen in midfield last season but I wont be doing that, he' a brilliant predator & belongs in the box'. The thing about that deeper role though, is that he finds himself getting in the box unmarked because no-one can pick him up, so its even bloody better!
  10. Best man for the job imo, I would get him back, it was basically constructive dismissal.
  11. What about the, "it is a fact that..." statement, which went down like a lead balloon? That statement never clarified the main issue here - IS IT FACT DENNIS WISE DOES HAVE FINAL SAY ON BUYING PLAYERS ON OCCASIONS OR NOT? Although it very strongly hinted that is the case, by saying its a fact Keegan had agreed to this set up, and Keegan had agreed not to talk transfers to the press etc. But then that brings around the whole point of the damn thing - Ashley & Wise have lied to the fans, and seemingly KK, by saying at the time Keegan does have final say on players. It that wasnt the case, they could have simply put IT IS A FACT DENNIS WISE DOES NOT HAVE FINAL SAY ON PLAYERS on their pathetic statement, but they didnt.
  12. As pointed out earlier in the thread, Wise undermined Keegan. Wise seemingly brought certain players to the club, who Keegan didn't choose to bring. I thought Wise wasn't responsible for first team recruitment? That word was not used, or meant literally, when Wise came in. He came in to advise Keegan of players he had been watching around Europe - a scout basically, but also bringing in Academy lads. Not to bring in first team players behind Keegans back. Keegans position from then on is untenable.
  13. No they're not, transfers are a small part of what being a manager is about. As far as i'm aware they weren't locking him out of the training ground. They undermined him. Dennis Wise is not a qualified enough person to make signings for Kevin Keegan to say the least, Keegan rightly does not want that, its a simple choice, and Wise is the choice. I agree, but on the other hand Keegan should never have come back under this system, he knows how it works as he was a DOF himself. To put ALL of the blame on Ashley and co is ridiculous, Keegan played his part. "My job is to scout the world and recommend players to Kevin, Kevin makes the signings, he has the final say" ... Deadline day comes & 2 players are brought in that Keegan did not want. Lied to, under-mined, Wise should pay for it. But even after this disgrace, he is chosen over Keegan. Words cant do it anymore...

  15. Dennis Wise & Derek Llambias are stopping Kevin Keegan from bieng our manager. Take a step back and read that sentance again. What an utter shambolic, disgusting, unholy disgrace.
  16. Yep. In terms of statements to Ashley: 40,000 would be better than 50,000 30,000 would be better than 40,000 Any kind of drop that isnt the norm would be more powerful than any chanting. A drop in attendance with banners draped outside the stadium (as well as protests outside); a message sent to Ashley via his customers, and a message sent to Ashley via the media (attendance coverage & banners coverage).
  17. Wasn't Bobby Robson Director of Football for a season at Barcelona, where his role was to sign players? Recommend players.
  18. Why? Would you have sacked Keegan after the Arsenal game?
  19. We've still got almost an entire season to play. You're happy for us to drop points and edge towards relegation I take it? As long as they're forced out and have no chance to recover from their mistakes... The next few weeks of matches hardly bare much significance in the grand scheme of things. It might not seem like that but, they dont. The priory must be imo for the fans to show in every way possible, and relentlessley, that we want Ashley & co out. What is football about? Wheres the romance? Is it purley a business? Are we all fans so we can have look at nice stats about net spend etc, no I cant think about a replacement, and cant bare Ashley & co bieng here any longer... It is an extreme example I will admit but who are you to say those points don't matter - what if end up getting relegated with the difference between us and the team above being only a point or two? That would set the club back more than this debacle has. You're the one not looking at the bigger picture... I can understand you wanting Ashley out but not at the expense of the club appointing another manager. I don't know why you'd not want both to happen if possible. Imo the whole board are a con, and Nufc are discredited a fair bit as long as theyre their. And its just my opinion that a game or two of boycotting would not send us into relegation & we have good enough players to stay up. I didn't say anything about boycotting. I just find it hard to grasp that some of our fans don't care about who replaces Keegan, especially given that we've got a season to play. I just find it very hard to think past the hopeful removal of Ashley & think that we the fans have more power than we potentially realise, just my opinion like. No offense - and you're totally entitled to your opinion, don't get me wrong - but how many fan protests (not just at this club) have ultimately been successful in achieving their aim/s? Not many - because theyre nearly always not powerful enough. The anger is on quite a scale compared to a lot of things in past football potentially anyway lik,e but say if most fans boycotted the hull game, even for the 1st half, imagine it? Just imagine that message, and power & threat it would carry? Like I said, the anger of this issue might take any protests to a new level anyway, but I know your right it isnt easy, but its something thats shouldnt be under-estimated.
  20. Aye this is my stance, I would rather we sorted out a quality manager than sit and HOPE Ashley f***s off any time soon. Just my opinion, but we the fans have more power than to just sit & hope for it. If that's the case then why did it take years to get rid of Shepherd? Or Villa even longer to shift Ellis? The only way to get anyone out will be for someone else to come along with the sort of money they're looking for, and no amount of online petitions or facebook pages will change that Just gotta hope that he decides to take up any offer that comes his way instead of declining/touts the club around for anyone interested, something he might have done originally. Like you said, will anyone come along? Its not exactly a rarity in the PL right now I'd say that.
  21. Aye this is my stance, I would rather we sorted out a quality manager than sit and HOPE Ashley f***s off any time soon. Just my opinion, but we the fans have more power than to just sit & hope for it. Hopefully, won't get my hopes up though. Just do what you feel would help contribute forcing him out, and do it relentlessley (weather it be chanting/banner protesting (inside the found or outside)/getting the word out about sports direct/merchandise etc).
