  1. Its so cringeworthy. Redknapp is the worst pundit around, waffles on and on about the most obvious things, so false.
  2. Like it matters. What do you possibly mean? Meh, i'm generalising tbh. Just feel a bit as if - whatever hope i had left - has just been thoroughly sapped with today's news about Kinnear. Aye i saw it coming but the reality of it hurts. I've always been for the academy policy so my opinion hasn't really changed on this - it's good that we've been doing it and a refreshing chance to the previous regime. We won't reap the rewards of any signing with this manager though. Yikes. I'm forming the thesis of an agenda here. Better go careful tbf. Fair enough, Kinnear hasnt inspired me at all, its yet another transistion season for us, its just good to see that there is actually good things happening at the club throuoguht the doom and gloom. When was the last time you saw the club make such an effort to look for the future of the club? Like i say, it's all just a total contradition. Whilst we're maintaining a focus on bringing young players in, we're appointing Joe f***ing Kinnear as permanent manager. As far as i'm concerned, with that clown, the future points to one direction - and that is ultimately down. Of course, by some point it'll get to breaking point and he'll have to sack him, but that doesn't represent any sort of consolation for me. If Ashley is serious, he would have chucked Kinnear, chucked Wise (no PL manager will work with that), and got someone decent in. I really, deeply wish that had happened - and signings like this one would get the credit they deserve. With things as they are though... pfft. As if it even matters. With respect to Kinnear, who's done some good while here, that really does sum up my feelings too.
  3. You don't think perhaps he's been asked the same question as every other manager this week & answered it by pointing out we'll find out how good they are pretty soon? Still any excuse to be critical eh? Fair enough like, its about the context it was said it, whether he was just making an innocent comment or actually was moaning about bad luck. But like I said, the way he's gone on about the injuries, when most 1st teamers are available, you tend to think he was moaning, making excuses up already. ? Sorry, most of the players in the starting 11 against Hull were 1st team players.

  5. Thats actually not made up?? Bloody hell man, like you say, what message does that send out to the team? It was the same with 'injuries, injuries' when the team that finally did play against Hull had 7, 8 players who would start if everyone was fit anyway. Crappy excuses, smokescreen, Souness, and Roeder really, all over again.
  6. When is anything confirmed anymore? Im not suprised one bit that, after the manager has came out with something like that, nothing has been confirmed by the club - which says everything.
  7. Aye and twats who continually slag the club off and angle for a move get what they deserve. Geremi?
  8. So was club draining the life out of the fans when it finished 5th and there was booing? Had Laurent Robert drained the life out of the fans when he was booed? Had Carl Cort drain the life out of the fans when he was being ironically cheered off? Or when we'd finished 3rd the season before but when Gary Speed got bucket loads of stick? The fans were sh*t when we were doing well, but 5th place was a crisis wasnt it? Its ironic really, everyone kicks off at the 'mess' the club is 'in' around that period, so when the REAL mess comes along you could say its simply what some fans deserve when they couldnt appreciate better times, and that things wernt that bad when we finsihed 5th. Yes its a total mess, the way the club is bieng run is a shambles. But surley you should always be able to stand by and say 'at least we have magnificent support at SJP'. Is Geremi in charge of the club like? Yes I can understand frusration and annoyance, but surley the fact that a player is wearing a black & white shirt should put a barrier up in your mind not to go far as to boo that player, when he's your player. Souness was right, 20,000 supporters, 30,000 customers. (and thats bieng kind)
  9. Nah, good passes are always well applauded. By, what, 10 fans? Theres loads of times someone like Enrique will play some nice one-two's, win some tackles, and its dead silence, as if its expected. But a mistake, oh no massive noise needs to be made for that, is it any suprise some players dont want the ball? Booing players after a mistake man ffs, so fickle, sh*t support thats what it is. Lets play at SJP if front of this sh*t support, who love to give us grief & boo when we (we bieng Real Madrid of course) make mistakes. If only we could take the piss out of other fans like Arsenal who have sh*t support at home, and boo their own players. Shame we're no different.
  10. Whats the point man, wheres the heart and soul of football. Booing players for mistakes, booing the whole team when the ball goes out, I thought that when it all comes down to it, at least you can be proud of the support given by the fans, not anymore. Do people think we're Real Madrid? The ground is filled with hostility so easily, yet hardly a peep is made for a good pass most of the time.
  11. No, I'm saying you're trying to suggest that people think that is the case when clearly no one does, then saying other peoples' arguments are stupid & hilarious. Oh yes, its so 'hilarious', so do you think people would come on here, read through the thread, and genuinly be laughing, because its so so 'hilarous' & 'comedy gold'? You probably need to read back & see who called who hilarious. Yeah, thats twice it was used, and whats the point? And like these responses to a thread with just simply ' ' . Whoever did anyway, cant remember who, What the point? Why not just talk normally and say what you agree/disagree with without coming accross snobby by doing that and giving cheap remarks about 'scummy' people in there etc? You have to be taking the piss? For what it's worth, I haven't called anyone scummy either. Here we go, okay so I havent been talking normally have I not? When I say talk normally, I mean talking without that cocky/snobbish slant. I suppose Im still 'talking the piss ' Aye I cant remember the name of who, but whoever did, whats the point in stereotyping people like that? By talking normally I meant stringing coherent sentences together. Aye wye, na Im not talking the piss, even though that, if you are looking to take the piss, it is ironic I said that considering my inability to write decent english. But like I said, I didnt say that on the basis of whether you can string coherent sentances together or not, even if you are rubbish at stringing coherent sentances together, like me, I'm on about giving an opinion & having a debate, not pointless cocky posts like 'oh comedy gold' & ' '
  12. The post was moronic at best. How? People are just giving honest opinions & get responses like ' comedy gold ' all cocky & snobby, whats the point?

  16. I'm f***ing destroyed tbh. Do you go on internet forums and enjoy trying to 'win' debates like?
  17. Well I dont understand some of the confusion? 'we'll find out the truth'... do people think Keegan is telling lie's when he said he wasnt in control? And if he was, surley the club would have flat out denied it! But they realsed statements to practically back up Keegans comments! And if you say 'ah Keegan agreed to everything in Jan', but quite clearly Wise's statement contradicts that. Its a disgraceful, shambolic way to treat a manager, and such a massive waste.
  18. In moving to clarify his role on Tyneside, Wise, 41, said: "A lot of people have got a little mixed up with the reason I'm here and we need to straighten that out quite quickly. "I'm not here to be involved in the first team. I'm not here to manage. I'm here to help Kevin as much as possible with bringing young players through and also recommending certain players to him. "He will say yes or no. He has the final word, no one else. I'm not going to do things like bring players in behind his back, I'm not into that. Everything that happens will be run past him and he'll say yes or no." Thats clear then. No interference ... "I've been working desperately hard to find a way forward with the directors, but sadly that has not proved possible," Keegan said in a statement. "It's my opinion that a manager must have the right to manage and that clubs should not impose upon any manager any player that he does not want." ... wait a minute, he is saying there that, in the end, there was interference? A Very strong accusation considering Dennis Wise's statement above, if a false accusation I'm assuming the club will be quick to deny a claim of such particular interference... ● It is a fact that he agreed not to talk to the media in relation to the acquisition or disposal of players. ● It is a fact that Kevin Keegan, as manager, had specific duties in that he was responsible for the training, coaching, selection and motivation of the team. ... I assumed wrong, they did not even deny nor respond to Kevin Keeagn's claim of interference, only stated that ^. And, in my opinion, that reply from the club is so, so telling.
  19. Remember Roeders last ever game, 0-2 loss to Blackburn at SJP, was a right mess.
  20. 0-3 Liverpool at home last season anyone?

    Kinnear Out

Yes, said after last season we need to stick with 433 when everyones fit & cant throw that discovery away, but was gutted when I read Kinnear say basically 'Ive heard Kevin played Owen in midfield last season but I wont be doing that, he' a brilliant predator & belongs in the box'. The thing about that deeper role though, is that he finds himself getting in the box unmarked because no-one can pick him up, so its even bloody better!
  22. Best man for the job imo, I would get him back, it was basically constructive dismissal.
