All of these suggestions are great, in the 40-60m bracket. Chiesa could be added to this list too. It depends what is classed as elite. For example Sesko as a second striker, elite or not? He is younger, and coming off a poor season. A pacy CB is important. As is a starting LB. A decent specialist DM even if they’re not a starter would be a good position to fill for certain games.

Looking at the Saudi players, some of the bigger names might be interested in moving on, one year into the project with bank balances sufficiently topped up. The likes of Milonkevic-Savic or even Veiga. Bono for GK or Laporte for LCB. Even if on loan.

I do think FFP can be gotten around with cleverer use of the loan market. Ok so wages go up slightly but you’re getting rid of a ton of deadwood. I never understood the hate for Guivarch? How is he the worst signing, he only played 4 games and even scored 1 goal? He was top scorer in the French league his previous two seasons and started for the World Cup winners in most games. Was it just that he never met expectations?
