if we did a swap deal with Man U - I would take Mbuemo or Sesko
-
A lot of the reason is that he seemed too slow. He had great feet and a great attitude etc - but perhaps he hadn't yet found his best position for us - Howe played him LW, he played as a CAM for Bristol, he did the Longstaff role a few times too as an 8. Although I do remember that pre-season before the previous CL season where looked like a monster - he was very unlucky he did his back in that season as I'm convninced it would have been his breakthrough season. Perhaps Miley doesn't get the focus or opportunity then so swings and roundabouts. It's a shame though because with those two plus Minteh, it is £200m worth of talent in young players who can grow with us through the next phase. So at Forest is he an 6 or an 8?

Well, Gattuso explains Tonali's form this season perfectly Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe s**t...

I'm shocked Anderson turned out so good

The Manncity thing even tho it'll never happen is a great way to pad out the squad and also lower the age with technical ability. We don't even need the cash profit if we are getting players in return. For Tino I would want Trafford, Khusanov and Lewis For Tino, wouldn't mind a straight swap with Marmoush if they were willing. Otherwise Id go for Sverre Nypan, Savinho and Etchiverri. But these are some of their best young players they'd probably want to give away lesser known ones like Kabore

Italy are due to win the world cup in 2030 They've almost got this crazy record of winning every 24 years 1934 1958 - this is the anomaly as they DNQ 1982 2006
-
Imagine if he solved our RW problem all along May aswell make Elanga left back and screw it, perhaps Wissa fancies a go in goal
-
Yeah - Kayode at Brentford might cost £40m but is young and has a long throw on him. Could be the answer

Not win the league but sneaky challenge and then fall away by Jan/Feb. The thing is, when the season ended, hopes were genuinely high for many reasons: - Finally won a cup - Finished in CL places - Hadn't spent in 3 windows with a ton of budget to spend, without PSR constraints - Kept powder dry in January when linked with Khusanov and others and didn't spend on Guehi the summer before when price went too high (which suggested marquee CB due) - Isak considered world class and some even said better than Haaland - Mitchell had been in place for one full year without any signings meant that we thought all the pre-work was being done - Trafford had seemed like a done deal already - A lot of the dross leaving - Wilson not extended, Longstaff, Lloyd Kelly - Top track record of transfers when allowed to spend and not compromised by PSR - The best midfield in the PL - Englands full backs for the next decade I thought a good second striker to support Isak, finally solving RW problem, a marquee RCB, a top GK and the team is looking complete - all the core gaps being addressed. In hindsight looking at that, we were four quality signings away from being a challenger. So near and yet so far. Now we've got to rebuild and start from scratch essentially.

He could be a wing back in Amorim's system
-
True but the heavy metal Klopp Liverpool team that Howe was emulating early doors had Fabinho and Naby Keita Not sure if Tonali was supposed to be that for us - feel like he was the Gini Wijnaldum or Jordan Henderson great engine equivalent
-
I'd like to get more of a Caicedo/Tiote type - a destructive mobile DM, just sitting, with Bruno and Miley as 8's ahead. Like a Joelinton but defensive. Fernandinho or one of those water carrier type of players who I don't quite like watching but they do a vital job for the team
-
Bruno is our KDB - can't see him leaving - in fact can see him changing position once he loses his legs to the quarterback style - his passing and throughballs for a speedy striker He is up there with Nobby Solano as those who are adopted Geordies through and through - he's more of a Geordie than Steve Bruce.
-
Good thing is Ross Wilson has experience of buying 10-12 players in one window so hopefully we can work on more than one deal at a time this summer
-
With a wissa bit of luck we can get rid of this shite Holler with the rinsin' sound
-
It's boring how extremely well-run Man CIty are. They already have a decade of advantages - now they have to be ruthlessly efficient in every aspect? Even last summer, Reinjders - fairly cheap, as were Cherki, Ait Nouri and then Guehi and Semenyo
-
At least he's not all left foot like Almiron
-
It's crazy though - it's pretty much just Willock and Murphy who haven't become full internationals under Howe (and Longstaff and Lascelles) - even he has limits to his powers Murphy would have been close last season though But with Barnes and Burn in particular, who would have thought it? Gordon, Hall and Tino you can guess from their age and profile would be up there. Pope and Ramsdale too under Howe. Very impressive
-
The problem is they have a hollow core st-opping their team progressing If only Kulevseski and Maddison didn't get such a Nazi injury it could have been so different
-
Arsenal too. Given Man City are thinking about Maresca after Guardiola - surely Howe would have a chance too You don't know what you got til it's gone
-
should have scored that header from hall's cross
-
The best one was Tino Tonali hall after the bruno burn trippier jan window
