  1. Ditto Would be lethal on the counter

I’d prefer a price point 50-55m with 10-15m achievable bonuses
  3. West Ham have improved transfers a lot since that Tim steiden came in with the likes of Paqueta Kudus Bowen

One of the things they may have thought of is chemistry, if Hall, Tino and Guehi have all been trained the Chelsea way, they will know each others game and have a high standard of training they came through even if they were in different aged teams. Makes you think though, there was so much Abramovich did to make them a world class entity, building foundations for the future, the only problem other than Mourinho he never found his Wenger or Pep, the one to put in place a long term pathway to the team. It’s crazy how Bohley has destroyed the hard work within a few seasons, in time he will be remembered as their Ashley I’m sure

If the choice was Guehi or Diomande/Silva for 60m which would you prefer?
  6. I’d prefer the former in that case
  7. If we get Guehi Orsula Roque and that starting RW in August that would be a blockbuster summer and set us up perfectly for a real attack at this season. All of a sudden we’re looking solid everywhere and even in depth too Next season we could go large on a big GK and more depth

He only plays LCB because Anderson is their Schar, great passer etc who plays RCB. Shows he's versatile and can play both, as he's right footed
  9. Good shout, worth breaking the bank for, for sure.
  10. I honestly think if Gordon was to leave, we'd go all out to get Kvaratshelia
  11. Yes I can see two shocking out of the blue signings from here on in - one defo a RW, and the RCB to finally come in. Can see it being Antonio Silva or Diomande, someone we haven't really had the noise about but have been linked with. Can see Almiron finally go out, and potentially Trippier.
  12. Why was King Pardew upset after signing an 8 year contract? Because he wanted a new Castle That is surely good enough to go in the book
  13. It’s actually so boring, we have genuinely gone backwards at this current rate, in what is going to be an even more competitive PL this season. Will Howe last the season if we finish 7th or 8th? Even if Almiron doesn’t go, the position desperately needs an upgrade. Wilson needs a young back up of calibre. Even a loan at this point would be a relief. A good RCB on loan because we have two CBs coming back could work well.
  14. I miss the days of double and triple signings being announced, feels like that hasn't been a thing for years? When was the last time - was it the French Revolution - Sissoko, Gouffran, Haidara, Debuchy and Yanga-Mbiwa?
  15. Gordon is good and a key part of the team, but I'd be less concerned at losing him than Bruno or Isak. Good left wingers are readily available, and would have faith in buying an as good if not better. Would struggle to do that with the other two.
  16. Oh man Merino to replace Longstaff would have been an amazing upgrade
  17. Sometimes I feel NUFC are too perfectionist and trying to get the perfect player when all they need is an improvement across the board. You can't raise the ceiling with every signing. For example for RCB, that Hujisen that Bournemouth signed, it was 12.8m. No brainer for a 19 year old with the same passing range profile as Schar. Schar can still be first choice and Hujisen can be back up. Milenkovic at Forest would be another in the same price range. Would have solved the position, with Botman due to come back as well as Lascelles, and Kelly and Burn who can slot in too. We would have 3 RCB and 3 LCB. Job done with little damage done after Tosin fell through. For the RW, literally Chiesa is available for 25M. Even if thats another 10m committed in wages, it makes sense, especially if we get rid of Almiron for that amount. I do understand he would expect to start so maybe he is not quite right. Matias Soule was also available for that amount, as a back up RW, sure. Chiesa and Soule for 50M would sort out that RW for less than the price of Olise. If you want to go big, a Kubo (and all the additional income he would bring) would be available for the Olise money. For back up striker, Ben Bereton Diaz was a good third choice, we could even keep Wilson as No. 2. That would have sorted out the entire window for us, and probably even left enough money for a James Trafford.
  18. Chelsea have such a dumb strategy They’ll be psr champions in a few years though
  19. That's a shame. Honestly Bournemouth do well in the market
  20. Might be a loan - Odegaard style? They've gotta pay for Mbappe somehow Can see Guler not being keen as RM was his dream move
  21. One thing we need to consider given Grealish, Rice PSR amounts were game changers - the only home grown we have left after Anderson are Miley or Longstaff (who are worth anything). Assuming Miley can be Longstaff's replacement, getting rid of Longstaff for a good upgrade makes a lot of sense, even if we got 20m, but spent 35m on a Fofana that's way better overall
  22. Despite the moaning about transfers, I do think it will be an epic season - last season the adversity will have really taught a lot and with a much easier schedule, I honestly think it could be a Leicester City 2016 type of season
  23. Yes same as Tonali, so effectively two new game changing starters
