This is a no brainer, if Hall and Tierney are the same price you would go for Tierney all day long. We needed an upgrade for that LB position not cover. Hall wouldn’t start hence wouldn’t improve the first XI so shouldn’t be prioritised over Tierney. If there’s a limited budget go for the surer thing not promise.

I do like Tierney the most - Arsenal fans who are notoriously critical seem to rate him very highly and disagree with Arteta for freezing him out He would fit in well, right age, leadership, versatile etc. CL experience too I believe.

Bellingham and Kane make sense at 100m. Guaranteed goals and one of the best young players in the world. Bellingham is like Joao Felix costing over 100m, golden boy etc etc. If Barca sold Gavi or Pedri or Bayern sold Musiala I’d expect over £100m too. Enzo and Caicedo even with inflation is lazy and overpriced purchasing. They are good players with high potential but not the best in their positions. I wouldn’t swap either of them for any of our first choice midfielders.

I actually agree, as crazy as that sounds. We have two very strong 11’s with a few good extras like Murphy and Miley. Chiesa and then Almiron, great impact sub, like Barnes Schar to Lascelles drop off slightly too big, so a Tapsoba or Todibo to bridge the gap. Tierney to play LB with Targett back up. It actually completes a very solid even title challenging squad. Let Manquillo, Krafth, Hayden, Hendrick and Fraser leave. Next season the first window splurge drops off so we can address the aging Wilson. It really feels closer than ever to a spectacular squad which is weird as with FFP two years is impossible from the position we were in.
