  1. Would take Khusanov and Gonzalez
  2. Agreed that Chelsea are scum
  3. This is the first summer where it’s been absolutely blatantly obvious the injustice of this system and how it hugely benefits the cartel and massively affects anyone else. Undeniably so. Villa Forest NUFC and anyone else ambitious enough should really challenge it openly this year, just like they brought in APT mid season. All we need is 7 clubs. Leeds and Sunderland may think they’re big clubs (especially given how much they’ve spent) and West Ham and Everton as traditional bigger more PL established club. Could be worth challenging the rules together this season. The rest are happy to be on the gravy train.
  4. Isak makes me laugh though, because, you know, it's his interfering, it's his timing. Going on about he wants some transfer doing-it's bank holiday weekend, you know. Ooh, what's more important, you Alex, with your “broken promises”, or some starving fans? Ooh I don't know. Ooh what would Eddie Howe say? I think we know-imagine him going out of the door on transfer deadline day and Jason Tindall is going 'Where you going, you haven't done the press conference. You haven't put the cones out.' 'Do it yourself I've gotta buy some Africans!’ (Wissa and Jackson)
  5. Ooh didn't know that Ok rule him out
  6. The 'pecking order' (TM) used to work because the high risk signings would be bought by lower tier clubs, do well and then get their big move. But now in an age of PSR, the top clubs want to get in early, leaving the rest to fight for scraps. They hoover up all the decent talent - even as backup. So even the signings that were made by cartel, many of them would be signings anyone outside the cartel to mid table could reasonably have made before getting their big club move later. E.g. Delap, Gittens, Pedro, Madueke, Hato, Leoni, Ekitike, Ait Nouri, Cherki, Trafford, Nypan etc are all players you can see playing for anyone from Newcastle, Villa to a Brighton, Forest and even a Bournemouth. Arguably, only Wirtz, Frimpong, Reinjders, Estevao, Gyokeres, Zubimendi, Sesko/Cunha/Mbuemo are the ones you expect to sign only for top 6 clubs at this point in their career.
  7. Not if strand Larsen is on the table, he moved this summer too if money talks for Osimhen then we have a lot of it
  8. Take it from Isaks new rejected contract
  9. Coutino went for 143m seven years ago. Given inflation that’s like 200m isak is much more valuable
  10. If strand Larsen joined this summer and they’re willing to consider a sale for double the money as the Wilson replacement why not go after Osimhen at Galatasaray for the Isak replacement even if he did join this summer? He is of the same or similar ilk, he might be willing to join for 200k in a top league. He cost them 45m so perhaps offer the Sesko money (75m) worst case even a loan for 10m - would rather him than Jackson
  11. Alvarez Ramos Openda woltenmade martinez thuram Osimhen

    Yoane Wissa

    Trafford So just Arsenal
  13. Who is left - surely everyone has been hoovered up by Chelsea or Man City

    Joe Willock

This reminds me of SBR's team of young pacy energy Bellamy, Dyer, Jenas, Bramble, Ambrose, Robert, Cort, Woodgate, Bernard, Lua Lua were all pretty pacy Then the perfect blend of experience in Shearer, Speed, Given and Solano Other than Trippier and Burn perhaps we lack that older head, that experienced nous in the centre and up top.
  15. I don't know how true the Alvarez at Athletico post was but if so - genuinely an Isak level replacement. Wonder if it's possible at all?
  16. The icing on the cake would have been one extra line.... P.S. Well done on your PFA team of the year award mate, we're super proud of you.
  17. Even if we had gotten Cunha or Mbeumo who are not strikers but capable of playing up front more than Gordon, they may have gone with it for now
  18. I expect the atmosphere on Monday to be like the Arsenal game in 21/22 when we beat them 2-0 or the Man U game where Howe said let's give them a fast game - can imagine the players being well up for it - an extra 10%. Think we'll win comfortably. Howe is great at the siege mentality thing.
  19. But also it's reasonable if one director has now left, you say in the summer when resuming contract talks this guy promised me x. So I want that factored in, that extra amount I would have earned last year, into the signing on fee or as extra wages in your negotiation. Im sure the club would be reasonable. Not sure even Anelka would have done what this guy has done
  20. Yes the following sounds good for a CL season. Jackson for the high pressing. Wissa for the poaching. a free transfer Mitrovic for the target man. Osula out on loan. Get rid of Isak on loan this season if need be. He's done here.
  21. Agree that I'd love to see some Saudi tampering just to add more drama to the saga
  22. Yes, don't mind Lascelles coming on the pitch and doing a Cantona kung fu kick on Van Dijk and getting banned for 12 games and leave a true legend
  23. It would be great if in the press conference Howe is asked about the statement and he does his usual blatant denials - 'oh he's made a statement?' I've not seen that but all I can tell you we're open to welcoming him back here
