  1. Man City are making the kind of cheap European buys I expected us to make under Mitchell Khusanov Bah Cherki Ait Nouri very well run They rarely buy top end and when they do it’s discounted such as Haaland
  2. The most important thing is to get players who may not have come without CL. That calibre. Tonali would never have come if we didn't have CL that season. Elanga and Joao Pedro would come to us regardless of where we finish as they'd be taking a step up to a bigger club. I'd love to see some ambitious names because everyone is majorly strengthening and to improve significantly you have to make up a lot of ground every season.
  3. We were linked with him. Is expensive but wouldn’t mind him to be our back up CF. High ceiling player and could be an 80m player in a few years
  4. I read an article which Elanga says he’s very close to Isak and they have very good chemistry on the pitch for Sweden. could this be a signing to appease Isak? If Shearer in his prime had said to us to sign Jason Wilcox from Blackburn he knows my game and will get the best out of me we would have probably done it. So perhaps it’s not just Elanga himself, it’s Elanga plus what else he will get out of Isak
  5. I wouldn’t mind him here for that price
  6. We were spoiled with January 22 window. It was like all the excitement was reserved for that window and that window only

    Paul Mitchell

Hope is the most oxymoron name for him
  8. Do many players leave Brighton and go on to better things? Serious question. They seem hyped in their moneyball strategy but other than Caicedo and even he was a slow burn, who’s gone on to great heights after being sold for a huge fee? Mac Allister was sold under market value. Bissouma and Gilmour and Ferguson are a few examples of those that have flopped or declined
  9. If that’s the case I would be making a strong case to Jonathon David right now to come and ease in, share workload this season with a view to taking over as first choice next season. For free we’d be getting a 50m player and would have a very strong pair, maybe the strongest in the league alongside Haaland and Marmoush.
  10. Wouldn’t mind dropping 50m for Maignan plus either Thiaw or Tomori
  11. That would be a great upgrade on Pope. Perhaps worth getting over Trafford for for an immediate Alison esque equivalent for the first team
  12. So Joao Pedro is our Josh King then?
  13. Annoying this would be such a good move for us this is this summers Hujisen deal mark my words
  14. It’s just that we got Tonali for 55m and Isak for 63m. 60m in theory given our track record should get us that type of player. Mbuemo is a Gordon or Barnes level player so 45m max feels right. Of course sometimes you have to overpay etc but just makes you think what else would be possible for that kind of cash.
  15. Wouldn’t mind Marseille being our Strasbourg
  16. Interesting that Doue was on Nicksons list before he joined PSG. What could have been

    Alexander Isak

    What does tifo mean?
  18. Garcia was Mitchell’s choice Trafford is Howes choice simple explanation guys
  19. During half term?! We’re paying him too much, how is he affording a trip during school holidays? he should have waited a few days and the prices would have gone right down hope it’s not been taken out of the transfer fund…
  20. I also think that he was pretty much the posterboy of his time, and in the 90's many people would have signed just for him. Similar aura to a Zidane, or if CR7 became a manager
  21. One thing that is definitely apparent, is that there hasn't been enough genuine appreciation and official recognition for what Keegan has done. SBR got the freedom, plus got a statue Shearer ditto Howe has got the freedom Keegan should be immortalised somewhere, in his lifetime. Everyone knows the club wouldn't exist in its current format without Keegan putting it back on the map Nottingham Forest have got a statue, a road, and a stand - obviously he is the stand out legend that put the club on the map. Keegan may not have won the trophies but should get a stand at the very least - perhaps in the new stadium.

    Paul Mitchell

At this point, I'll take Gordon Milne back
  23. Delap probably going to Chelsea because of Palmer, who he would have known from Man City youth team

    Marc Guehi

Guehi plus Harwood Bellis would be a good investment into CB for next few seasons Especially given Burn and Schars age
