Really looking forward to see this guy playing for us....high expectations (probably coz argentinian) Hope he does enough to secure a contract here.

some thoughts: First - fairly positive. Biggest concern is how our striker AGAIN is being left alone in the box. I know we are playing City but we should have a go - not acceptable to have one man in the box (first half)!!! This has been my main criticism for a looooong time now! Fix it Pardew - rather play attacking stuff - then try to steal a point at home and still loose 0-2!!! Janmaat: so so today - but will come good. Mike / Colo: like both - but we should replace at least one of them. Dummet: prefer Santon Colback: free transfer - what a great signing. When all fit probably not a starter but good to have. Looking forward to see more of him. Gouffran: bench him Cabella. Exciting wow - also teammates have to play him right. He likes to play 1-2! Obertan: poor Aarons: Looked raw Riviere: difficult conditions - did ok - but concerned about his end product Ayose: still thinking about that chance - what a debut that could have been. Interesting to follow him. Sissoko: i like him - does many good things. poor passer. Our bench was shit: i know we were missing key players like: De Jong, Cisse, Yanga, Ferreyra, Tiote, Santon (ben arfa) Still would like us to buy following: Proven goalscorer Quality CB AMC/AMR/AML - a AMC who also can play on the wing(s)

First of all I would like to say that I really have enjoyed watching ben arfa playing for us. Some of his goals/assists for us have been awesome and amongst few highlights in recent years. He came to the club under the wrong manager...although I think they had a good relationship in the first couple of seasons (first he hardly played). I also think pardew was right in trying to develop the more defensive side of his game but somewhere it went wrong. Pardews tactics and way of using/not using ben arfa was a catastrophe - but Im still a bit confused? How is Ben arfas personality/professionalism? Had his injuries but have seemed rather overweight at some points? Is he respected by his teammates and does he respect them? Know he have had his problems earlier in his career - so if someone (objective) could give his opinion i would appreciate it? My personal conclusion is: Pardew is a limited manager who did not succeed in integrating the most gifted player we had here for years (maybe ever had). Also that Ben arfa professionalism could have been better - especially his fitness!

Why him? I might have missed something regarding Santon. But i still see him as our best LB option. Still plenty of room for developing further... You prefer dummet, haidara or Ryan T.?

My preferred line up atm. (a fit and wanted ben arfa would naturally be in there. Maybe cisse too) krul Janmaat Yanga Colo Santon Tiote Anita Sissoko De Jong Cabella Riviere or Ferreyra

If high offer comes for Krul we should sell imo. Keepers always seems easy to replace with (old) experienced keepers or young ones with potential (like Krul) Before last season i hoped or would´t have minded selling Krul for the right price and for example had him replaced with Cesar. Would have been good business and then have had a promising keeper as back up.

he knows how to put pressure on him self (and the players) CL challenge no - but top 6-7 should be our goal.

tbf i think they are trying to sign a quality forward. We are not done yet - big questions concerning Yanga and arfa...Both needs to be replaced. Been massively wrong and disappointed more than ones in recent years Maybe pardew unfortunately prefers sissoko on RW which could be the reasons for the interest in CM Grenier

I agree basically, but on the other hand our youth development has been non-existent for almost all the time I have followed NUFC. true, its pathetic. A disgrace actually.

not going to happen, but he would be ideal as he can play both on top and RW. If ben arfa is history i really think we could use more quality on the flanks. Hopefully Yanga stays. Could live with our currents CBs and do business in january if needed. Prefer a good winger and a striker.

1st. i do not expect to see area starting for us again. 2nd. I could see it work with for example tiote and sissoko protecting the defends. 3. thats our best defends. How would you like to have it?
