An organised atmosphere is the same as going to a holiday camp and having organised fun. Agree with a few of the posts above, support should be spontaneous and genuine. Not singing because of a media campaign. You've said in your original manifesto that the atmosphere was better under Keegan and Robson, and that's simply cos the football was better. (I know people have said there used to be great atmos when we were shit, but that was also before all-seater syndrome). If the level on the pitch improves, the level in the stands will follow accordingly.

With the match being as boring as it was, I'd have been tempted to carry on singing it. So I follow and just as the person behind the counter is about to charge him for it I offer 5 quid more. Now the sales person being the honest type goes no he got here first and the price is only 13m but I argue, "no it's worth more to me than him, at which point the sales person is starting to laugh at me because, yes why? Because the price tag is only 13m, not 13m and 5 quid. So Alex the bastid, walks off with my CD and no matter what I feel it is worth, the price tag only said 13m! Truth of the matter is the bitch behind the counter had another one but it was stock for the sale next week and it was marked down to 6m but only if I bought it in January. Went to Luxembourg v Ukraine a few months ago.

Fucking loved Oba's first goal. Looked like the ball was only about 4ft off the ground when he somehow squeezed in a little overhead volley. Second half was shit imo. We never really looked like conceding (apart from the Pieman letting Anelka in to score), but we never looked like scoring either. Fairly workman-like, but no complaints at all after going in 3-0 up. Bit of luck for the goals, but it's luck we've not had for a few seasons. Taylor, Roz, and Smith most stand-out performances for me. Martins troubled them a bit, didn't really know how to control him, Viduka didn't really do anything as a striker, but linked in others well with a few smart passes. Overall fucking chuffed. Partly that we won, partly that it was an impressive win, and partly cos we knocked the dog-wankers off the top.

I'd say as just out and out strikers we probably have the best selection. The other teams' strikers have more capable players around them, so have more chances to score created for them.
