Hate to break this news to you, but that’s not actually the way the world works. It’s possible to be critical of someone without actually being able to do their job yourself. It’s only really the ST resale that’s demonstrating a reduction in demand. The ballot and general sale are still selling out. The general sale is slower to sell out than in the past, but it still sells out. Issue with ST resale is that the availability goes up in the days before the game, which is the time when demand from members is lowest. Lots of people will have made other plans by that point. And anyone who isn’t local will have to sort last minute travel etc.

I’d be pretty confident that the lads that gathered on the concourse to scran chicken dippers and slurp pints on 35 mins didn’t have to go through the hassle of ballots / 10am sales / resale and a £50 minimum outlay to get their ticket.

Aye, agree with that. I try and focus on what Howe definitely has some level of control over. The tactics, selection, mentality, subs etc etc. Personally I don’t criticise him for the signings, because most of the commentary about who was signed and why is just speculation. So I don’t know what role he actually played in the recruitment. But the way the team performs on the pitch is largely down to him. So how shite / good we’ve been is what I’ll judge him on.
