  1. Definitely. There's loads of hospitality been knocking about at daft prices and then typically those tickets disappear in the days before the game. And I have my doubts that if people are paying £3-500 for a ticket they're doing it two days before a match.
  2. Who is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him on social media
  3. Aye. We do. Since 2012, Fifa's Club Protection Programme has covered the salary of players injured on international duty - although there are some conditions. Firstly, the player must be out of action for a period of at least 28 consecutive days and the injury must have been sustained during an "accident", which is defined in very boring and legally-specific detail in Fifa's guidelines, though it covers most of the examples you could think of. The scheme pays the salary of an injured player up to the maximum amount of €7.5m (£6.6m) until they are declared fit to return for their clubs.

  7. Wonder if any other teams have been drawn against each other out of the bag as many times as us and Man City in the last 4 seasons. We’ve drawn them in both LC and FAC in 2 seasons. And not always deep in the competition. It’s getting boring.
  8. 5th time we’ve played them in cups in last 4 seasons. Tragic.

  11. As soon as Burnley accepted an offer then Man City have to be notified due to the buyback clause. Matching clause means they have to offer the same as the other club have offered. So Man City are in the driving seat because they have to be told by Burnley that a deal is being agreed with another club, then Man City can scupper the deal by making an offer, if they decide they want the player back. Which in this case they did. The clause is designed by Man City to benefit Man City.
  12. A 2nd choice keeper who has barely played for a season being sold for £40-50m which is a 50% price increase on what he sold for 12 months ago and would be the 3rd most expensive keeper in Premier League history. All because he wears a Man City shirt not a Burnley one. It could happen I guess. But I guess it could happen that Michelle Collins DM’s me today and says she wants to be my lover.
  13. How’s his price gone up when he’s sat on the bench doing nowt most of the season ? City paid close to £30m so to improve significantly on that you’re looking at £40m+ and then he’s in moving into the bracket of the Top 3 most expensive keeper signings in Premier League history
  14. Live footage of the people who are talking about Liverpool giving us £95m for Gordon
