  1. I'd advocate the club introducing a policy where you're only allowed to sing if you test negative for toot It's no coincidence that over recent years the speed of songs has increased at the same rate as the queues for the cubicles
  2. Only watched the 2nd half but it was like men against boys. The intensity and physicality of Lewten just neutralised any threat from the makems. On the few occasions I’ve watched the Makems recently they generally played decent football and looked a tidy side. But they looked like startled rabbits in the headlights the neet.
  3. Reading this thread has become as depressing as fuck. I’m a pessimist by nature but compared to the doom mongers in here I feel like I’m actually as cheery as Mr Tumbles double dropping ten pund cowies.
  4. In the Real v City game last night most of the starting 11 numbers of both sides were under 20. It made my willy tingle.
  5. Newcastle away is definitely one of the hardest games Arsenal and Brighton could ask for, apart from City
  6. The recruitment team for non-football staff are up to their eyeballs with newly created jobs to fill. Just emphasises to anyone who doubted it how stripped to the bone the entire club was under Ashley and Charnley’s regime. NUFC simply wasn’t fit for purpose as a modern sporting organisation.
  7. Used to see Tim & Denise knocking about NE43 when they lived in Mickley early 90’s. If they’d stayed in the Tyne Valley Matty could have had his pick of the finest fanny in Prudhoe rather than that scrubber Taylor Swift. Thems the breaks I guess.
  8. Looks to me like the away kit design team at Adidas are partial to some psychedelics
  9. I’m concerned about the negative mental impact not finishing in the Top 4 might have on my grandkids who aren’t even born yet. If they’re ever conceived and born, they’ll hear about how we blew it from this great position and they’ll probably never be able to feel optimistic about anything in their lives ever. I won’t lie, it’s putting a real dampener on this season. I often wish it was still the Ashley era and we had a moribund threadbare club with zero ambition. Being a well run, high performing club who could actually achieve success, it has some major downsides. Worrying.
  10. It’s his outstanding leadership that makes me swoon He absolutely dictates what’s happening on the pitch in terms of our reactions, motivations and belief Can’t recall anyone we’ve ever had who was as good as he is when it comes to managing the in-game psychology of the team
  11. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK Haven’t seen dribbling like that since I necked 8 cowies in Dontinos and the DJ dropped Rhythm Is Dancer
  12. That fucking kazoo can fuck off Pure deein me napper in
  13. we’ve had 6 wins out of 7 we’re 3rd in the league we just annihilated Spurs we’ve only lost 4 all season we’re 3rd in the form table over last 6 games we’ve got an outstanding GD we’ve got a mean defence we’ve hit goal scoring form It’s in our hands Trust in Eddie, his amazing team and this amazing squad and stop pissing in your y-fronts
  14. Whilst there may be some external factors who have a say in the build up music, I refuse to believe there's mysterious evil dark forces at work behind the scenes who insist he turns the volume up to 11 and plays DJ FUCKING OTZI at the end of a match He's a shite announcer / DJ. He needs to either learn from his mistakes and use some common sense in his future selections, or pack his bags, slip into his red coat and go back to hosting mini-disco's at Butlins
  15. If he keeps on sacking, Levy's going to break
  16. If I was at an away game and they played that DJ Otzi shite at any point, never mind at the final whistle, I'd be ripping the piss about how embarrassing it was Makes the Smoggies playing Pigbag look sophisticated and high brow
  17. I stood and watched on in disbelief from the front rows of Strawberry corner First two goals were amazing, but what happened next was just mind boggling Stone cold sober but was in a daze Wandered home in silence, stunned Rewatched the full match on telly, still quite stunned Wasn’t until I watched the highlights this morning that I got the sense of joy that a win like that normally creates Don’t think I’ve ever felt like that after a win Even in the heady days of the 90’s the feeling of excitement after an amazing result was instant This club is twisting my melon. For all the right reasons
  18. Was a weird atmosphere in the ground during the game and on the streets after the game, just disbelief. Too much for our little brains to take in, in too short a space of time. We're not used to results like that in games as important as that.
  19. Is it feasible that the new altitude climate room could go up so high that it leaves the atmosphere ?
