  1. Their music doesn’t necessarily fit the typical N-O demographic but all of these are from Tyneside and doing really well in various parts of the industry LDevine, Riton, Ben Hemsley, Andrew Cushin, Patrick Topping, Man Power, Christoph Feels like musicians from the North East are thriving at the moment
  2. Typical mags tryen ta steyl Nadine, shey’s frem Whitbern marra
  3. Seems like it’ll pretty much be the same as last season but with 1000 extra ST’s going to some lucky souls on Tuesday Keeping as many game by game tickets available as possible seems like a fair solution all round to me - if you don’t get an ST then there’s still a good chance of getting to plenty of games
  4. Sam finds the makem fewm hilarious That angry doylem who does the match review YouTube videos from his mams attic called him Sam Vender and asked if he installs vending machines They’re off their tits on Wearside man
  5. What can you get for £70m these days man ? It’s only enough for 5.8 Trippier’s. Worrying
  6. Top European talent courted by Milan hasn’t signed for NUFC yet, but he’s already demanding a plan for if we don’t achieve CL football and then we’d only be left with a paltry £70m transfer fee. Worrying.

The entire post was a piss take, the joke was supposed to be that I didn't know what I was talking about

We're strengthening the squad with premiership proven pro's who will fit with the club ethos and provide healthy competition for key positions. We're the richest club in the world. We should be signing Neymar. Worrying.
  10. Shuld b in Lush Lasses thred m8
  11. That Gazette article is just a description of NUST's preferred route of season ticket allocation. There's nothing in there about what the club are actually planning to do with regards to season ticket sales.
  12. Do they have tellys the size of beer mats like the ones on the concourse ?
  13. If I have to go shopping with my lass on match days because they don't sell any more season tickets then there'll be absolute hell on I'll be sat outside the changing rooms at Dorothy Perkins hammering the keypad on my phone and unleashing a torrent a furious Facebook posts criticising the new regime
  14. My wife hates it when I do that
  15. But, but, but, but, I thought the richest club in the world would be signing galactico mercenaries for megabucks. Instead we're signing solid, consistent, model pro's who are here because they want to be part of a positive progressive squad who are on a journey up the league. Worrying.
  16. Probably been to INEOS in Newton Aycliffe, kipped in Newcastle, then back home to Monaco

    Dan Burn

Seen him there last night. He was sat at the back of the balcony, probably for the benefit of others. Imagine being lucky enough to get tickets in the ballot and then being unlucky enough to stand behind Big Dan Burn.
  18. Would free membership with allocated supporter number stop the touts and bots ? In global terms there's loads of entertainment events where demand outstrips supply, you'd assume PIF can speak to some firms who manage that and lift a ticketing system from a different team or venue.
  19. I think anything that makes it harder for people to get tickets is a bad thing. The more people who can get to go to home games, the better. Open out the experience to as many fans as possible over the course of the season. Just as long as the owners pledge to dish out lifetime bans for any day tripper Insta-twats with selfie sticks. St James Park turning into Old Trafford would be soul crushing.
  20. Both. I'd have paid £40 for a membership if that was the only option. But I was able to get the same priority level for free and it was dead simple to just log in on my pals account, so paying £40 just seemed to be lobbing money away. IIRC they also stopped accepting new members relatively soon after the takeover.
  21. I've been to most home games since the takeover but buy tickets before general release by using a pal's ST priority rather than a membership. Am sure there are loads of other people like me too. If they prioritise members then I'd be excluded even though I rarely miss a game. I can't see any other fair solution apart from general sale or even a ballot. It'll be carnage but at least it's a reasonably level playing field.
  22. There's loads of reasons why people gave up ST's and also plenty reasons why people chose not to buy their first ST under Ashley's regime. It's just not practical or fair to try and give former ST holders 1st dibs. And I say that as a former ST holder who gave up cos of Ashley. Put some ST's on general sale this summer but also ensure we still have plenty tickets available on a game by game basis. Therefore those that miss out on ST's aren't completely missing out on being able to go to matches. And if every game sells out does up front revenue from ST's even matter. It's not as if we're short of cash.
  23. If you send a pic of your tallywhacker to @Mike he will sort that out
  24. My pic from Monday got a lot of love in the Bruno thread so thought I'd add it here for long term posterity. I'm close to signing a seven figure publishing deal brokered by my agent @Mikeso the image will soon be available on a range of t-shirts, beach towels, mugs, beer mats, key rings and y-fronts.
  25. Same here. I was 7. Still have really vivid memories of watching it live on telly. It scared the bejesus out of me.
