That guy that replaced Lerma is a better player imo.

Feels like Ramsey’s weirdly become a bit of a scapegoat recently. He’s not lit things up, but he’s done his job, keeps the ball moving, doesn’t hide, etc. That’s not “shit,” that’s a player settling in. Fair to want more, but writing him off already is well over the top. There’s more to come from him imo.

Maybe 2 misses in all these windows and people react this way. Mad. Meanwhile you could feasibly argue that 5 signings in that period would make it into our all-time 11.

Overall it was an okay showing and there were plenty of positives. We had to dig in for spells and weren’t at our best throughout, but it was good to see us stay organized and come through the pressure without conceding at the death.
