Agree with this. Might have stayed in Europe too. -
Confident we'll destroy them. Jekyll and Hyde.

Weak up and down both flanks tonight. I don't even know who is most at fault but not good enough from Gordon, Barnes, Longstaff, Anderson, or Murphy.
-
Longstaff is so bad at diving that he turned an obvious penalty into a goal kick and booking for himself.
-
They did nothing in the last 15-20 min. That wasn't pretty but it's all there for us.
-
If it happened it would have a small indirect benefit for us in that it would put a ceiling on the likes of City. But it's still a very high limit and all of the other restrictions would still be there so it wouldn't change anything in terms of what we can/can't spend.
-
Irrationally annoyed that here in the US our game is the one on TV but they gave all of the attention including the teams walking out to the Merseyside Derby.
-
I have a terrible feeling about this game based almost entirely on the feel good vibes this place has had for two weeks.
-
Ah, so now it's anti-competitive. But preventing owners from spending money they have is just fine.
-
It's going to be awesome (not really) when we lose to Palace tomorrow and go from debating which European competition we want to be in to whether the manager is worthy of his job.
-
Yeah but we’d be one of the best teams in the Europa League too. We held our own in the hardest CL group despite insane injuries. Half of our games until the final would be at home where I like our chances against anyone. I’ll take the decreased odds of winning for all the other potential benefits.
-
I still can't comprehend anyone preferring the Conference League. If that's where we end up then so be it, but the Europa League is far better in just about every way (prestige, opponents, money, coefficient points, rewards, etc. etc.).
-
Killing their GD too. We are close to safely having a 1pt advantage on everyone via GD.
-
I didn't see the whole game, but I was definitely confused at the time why the first one didn't get more attention.
-
Why are there always announcements at Goodison like there’s a train departing on track 7?
-
Truly dreadful.
-
Don’t like that
-
Interesting. I'd be all in if I could work remotely as a second job.
-
So Madrid, PSG, and Roma would have to go through with no more than two draws (or one win, one draw) from the German clubs. And then Villa would need to win the ECL with three wins. Not entirely impossible...
-
They've done absolutely nothing in the second half. Really expected more.
-
It appears to reference the old Laws of the Game that the shootout is not technically part of the match. The match officially ends when extra time ends. The shootout is just a thing that happens after. Funnily enough, this guy on Reddit accidentally predicted this would happen to Martinez:
-
Liverpool turning this around wouldn't be entirely shocking either. Maybe there's hope...

£140m is also roughly what would give us a £100m profit factoring in remaining amortisation. IMO that should be the floor for even considering it.
